Been DYYYYYING to share pictures from this shoot we did way back last year! The challenge was to make sure to differentiate the different burger buns! All those yummy burger patties had to be made from scratch and quite a bit of r&d went into what finally got used on the day of the shoot! Here we have the Atta burger bun - which had to be healthy so I came up with a chickpea and spinach burger patty with a hung curd sauce and arugular leaf salad - come to think of it, maybe I should have put some cheeky onions in there as well :P What sort of burger would you make?? The Crunch - my secret crunchie, sweet, salty base, dark chocolate @callebautchocolate baked ganache filling topped with honeycomb and crunchie bar pieces. Another OG pie I developed courtesy of the NYC bakery legend @christinatosi process… I was inspired by the @cadburyuk crunchie bar (only my favorite childhood choc) but didn’t want to make a simple ganache in a French pastry case and just shove crunchies on top. Yawn 🥱 This is an American style pie (and for my @christinatosi class) which means there had to be crunch, sweet, salty, creamy and stacks of flavour. Even better - each bite had to be moan-worthy. I’m happy to say that I nailed it. What are Cupcakes? Answer(In short) - small individual sweet cakes(mini cakes) baked in cup liners or cupcake tines they can be a treat for birthdays, picnic or any occassion you fancy, they are many type of cupcakes e.g vanilla, chocolate, velvet e.t.c here is a recipe for simple easy Cupcakes. Simple Cupcakes What is needed⬇️ 2 and half cup Self raising Flour 3 large Eggs 250g Butter 1cup sugar 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract/essence 250ml Milk/Water How it is done⬇️ Preheat oven to 180degrees, grease and line a 2*12cupcake tray Sift flour and set aside Cream butter and sugar together Add eggs one at a time adding flour in between until all the eggs are done. Add half of the flour in the creamed mixture and mix together. Add all the milk then add the remaining flour and mix Lastly add vanilla extract and mix together. Using a tablespoon(15ml) add the batter into the lined tray halfway do not overfill as the cupcakes will raise in the oven. Bake for 15-20minutes or until done. Let them cool in the tray then remove and line on cooling rack frost if desired or serve as Plain cupcakes. This recipe bakes 24standard size cupcakes.
