Tumbex Alternative That Actually Works
Tumbex down again? Zoomblr is a free, login-free Tumblr viewer — and it stays online.
Type any Tumblr blog name below to browse its posts and view its full-size profile picture. No account, no install, no waiting on a service that breaks every time Tumblr changes something.
Why Tumbex keeps breaking
Tumbex was the most popular Tumblr viewer for years, but it relied on heavily scraping Tumblr's images. Tumblr set up rules specifically to cut that access, which is why Tumbex was repeatedly down or blocked throughout 2025 — and tends to come back broken.
Zoomblr takes the opposite approach: it reads Tumblr's free, public data with lightweight requests, so it loads fast and is far less likely to be cut off.
Tumbex downloader alternative: save images, videos and photosets
Looking for a Tumbex image downloader? Zoomblr downloads Tumblr images, GIFs and videos at full resolution, free and without an account. Open any public blog and use the download button on the post you want.
- Images and GIFs: every image in a blog or tag feed has its own download button, and the full-screen viewer has one too.
- Photosets: each picture in a photoset downloads separately, numbered in order.
- Videos: video posts play right on the page and have a download button that saves the video file.
- A whole blog as a zip: "Download all" collects up to 200 images from a blog, or from one of its tags, into a single zip file built in your browser.
