Let’s bake❤️⬇️ Lemon Sponge cake with chocolate frosting📝 ⬇️ Author: Tendy Culinary Focus What is needed 2cups selfraising flour 125g butter/margarine ½- ¾ cup sugar(or more) 3 large eggs Zest and Juice of a lemon 1cup milk/water . Lemon crud/filling of choice 1-2 cups chocolate fresh cream How its done. Grease and line 2×7inch tins Preheat oven to 180degrees Sift flour in a bowl and set aside In another bowl beat the butter until softened. Add the sugar and beat until pale and fluffy Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Add half of the flour and mix well(do not over beat) Add all of the milk and mix well Add the rest of the flour, zest and juice of the lemon. -Bake for 20-30minutes Let it cool down a bit in the tin, then transfer onto a cooling rack to cool completely. -Then for frosting whip 1cup of chocolate fresh cream until firm. - Then take your cake spread lemon curb /filling then frost cream between layers using a spatula or palette knife do the same on the outside of the cake. -Decorate the top with anything desired e.g chocolates, fruits e.t.c Enjoy😘. . . . . . #tendyculinaryfocus #cakesrecipes #zimbloggersnetwork #zimbocakes #zimboBakers (at Harare, Zimbabwe) https://www.instagram.com/p/CReGQyjje3T/?utm_medium=tumblr
