Aww thank you~ So I’m actually still brainstorming and figuring out some stuff in his and Dawn’s lore! But what I got so far is that he’s Dawn’s antagonist/final boss if Dawn had his own companion quest lol Roshan was once a renowned magister with political power in Nevarra. Because of his status and charisma he had admirers and he fooled around a lot. He grew quite fond of Dawn’s mother and fell in love, but she left him when he started showing more of his true selfish and power hungry nature. He left the mortalitasi and became a cult leader (still figuring out this part lol) when he couldn’t sway other magisters to get what he wanted. I don’t think Roshan even knew he a son. But I think he eventually found out when Dawn turned 2 and he ordered some of his followers to kidnap him. They were unsuccessful because Dawn’s mother protected him, but at the cost of her life. Dawn woke up in the Grand Necropolis and that’s where the rest of his story continues. Yeeeears pass and Dawn joins the Veilguard and finds out about his dad. Roshan tries to manipulate Dawn to join his side (as an heir/tool?) But that’s what I got right now 😂 I basically wanted Dawn’s whole thing to be about family by blood vs found family 🥺
I’m playing AC Mirage finally! I wanted to wait until the DLC came out. I love Basim’s character but his mentor Roshan drives me up the wall with her voice. It sounds like she’s been smoking a pack of smokes a day since childhood. I’m 15+ hours in and I’m ready to mute the tv. Y’all Roshan needs a pack of throat lozenges asap.

Lemme tell ya, nothing motivates you to create an official character reference like a contest wherein the prize is free and really good art 🙌 Did I win that contest? Not to my knowledge, but! that means I still have official character references for Andras (human) and Roshan (parasaurolophus)! Andras and Roshan are characters from a Cypher Systems game called Predation, where essentially military scientists get trapped in the late Cretaceous period, and their descendants have to figure out how to get home before the asteroid hits and it’s g'night for humans and dinosaurs alike. Andras is… a touch off his rocker, due to exposure to events the game calls Time Anomalies, but Roshan is there to keep him from going off the deep end.
