Self-portrait as if I was in an anime opening. The song I have in mind is “ Song Rider ” by Royal Gal. I heard it in a store while I was in Japan and fell in love with the band immediately. I just WISH THE SONG WAS LONGER! My anime would be a twelve-episode slice of life about a socially awkward nerd and history lover who goes on her first trip to Japan with her much more well-traveled friend. The soundtrack would be a lot of ambient rock much in the vein of FLCL, and a mix of both Japanese and western music (mainly from the 90s). (I am also making a separate version for my friend that isn’t gonna be posted here)
