Perge es una de las ciudades mejor diseñadas y planificadas de la Anatolia romana. El Ágora está rodeado por una amplia stoá y hay un área pavimentada rodeada de galerías con columnas. Había tiendas detrás de las galerías pavimentadas con mosaicos ornamentados en el suelo. Las puertas de las tiendas estaban dispuestas para abrirse hacia adentro o hacia afuera alternativamente. El lugar denominado Ágora (Bazar) fue posteriormente llamado Macellum, ya que aquí se vendían carnes y pescados, así como artículos de lujo como perfumes. Fue el segundo Ágora más grande de Turquía en términos de su tamaño. El área interior mide 51,00 x 51,00 m. El tholos de planta circular situado en medio de esta área pudo haber sido un templo. Sin embargo, en el período bizantino, se colocaron tuberías de agua en las paredes alrededor del podio del tholos y, en consecuencia, se cree que esta estructura se empleó entonces como agiasma. Perge è una delle città meglio progettate e pianificate dell'Anatolia romana. L'Agorà è circondata da un'ampia stoá e vi è un'area pavimentata circondata da gallerie colonnate. C'erano negozi dietro le gallerie pavimentate con mosaici. Le porte dei negozi erano disposte per aprirsi alternativamente verso l'interno o verso l'esterno. It’s the last day of June, and Fezz has a message to share. An Anatolian Shepherd/husky mix gallops on screen and spins to show his t-shirt. It reads “All for Love and Love for All” in rainbow letters. After a brief pause, he gallops off screen again.

Unfortunately, over the past few months post Wrigley’s ACL repair surgery, his body had a bad reaction to the metal plate and screws stabilizing his leg. After multiple courses of antibiotics failed, he had to go in for surgery today to have the plate and screws removed. While in the operating room, it was discovered that his entire joint was infected as well as the areas around the hardware, so the surgeon performed a necessary joint flush as well. This second, unplanned surgery was over $1100 (on top of the $4500 for his first procedure). Fundraising is our least favorite part of running a non-profit, but we will always do the uncomfortable job of asking our supporters to help when it means rescuing and meeting lifelong medical needs for each animal in our care.
