There’s one Pokemon I need that I know looks very cool in one specific region… And it’s Slowking from the Galar region. So obviously I had to travel there (cue the bagpipes) Met a weird guy at the train station and he told me I needed to visit a specific island to find Slowpoke, so I had to travel again to the Isle of Armor Target acquired Goteem Time to go back to Lumiose and evolve him 👍 Also bonus Wailord that distracted me so bad I tripped over a Slowpoke

This blog has been on hiatus for a while because everything I try to write looks repetitive and I often end up losing my train of thought. I’m also demotivated as hell I could regain some ideas with requests, but I can’t assure you they’ll work out *sigh*

I don’t think I’m ever gonna finish the Isle of Armour storyline. I like Kubfu too much to ever evolve them now, and I think that means I’ll never get Mustard or Avery’s rare league cards. But oh well. It’s a small price to pay for me being able to keep a pokemon I find absolutely adorable. If I don’t get mustard or avery’s rare league cards, does this affect the story in any way? I’m just genuinely curious. Because I don’t want to evolve Kubfu (especially if I can’t get another one), but I don’t want to miss anything really important either.

The fact that the dynamax adventures are all heavily geared towards cooperative play is another example of pokemon largely discriminating against the friendless. Beyond that, the legendaries you catch have no pokedex entries! And without pokedex entries, why should I care!? I don’t! I’m not going to engage with that part of the game, I don’t think. It’s not holding my interest at all, and it’s making me feel annoyed.

Here’s a sketch of Niel and Lynette A.K.A. “Spikedad” & “Spikemum” They are Piers’ & Marnie’s parents. Niel is a punk from Motostoke. Lynette is a goth from Spikemuth. Niel had aspirations of being in a band, but never really followed them after he had become devoted to raising his family. He got a regular day job instead. However, his son, Piers had encouraged him to stay in touch with his musical side. Niel would often accompany his son’s singing with playing the guitar. Piers was very close with him. He would often include him as his own personal guitarist. Lynette was a typical “Queen of Darkness.” She was also a bit of a daredevil. She often rode her motorcycle around late at night, and she loved hanging out on rooftops. No one had ever believed she had a “soft side”, even with Piers, she was more of a realist- warning him about certain things, in hopes that he wouldn’t have to face some of the mistakes she had made in the past. But after Marnie was born, she had shown a new side of her- one that was less “dark” and even a bit less “spiky.” They loved each other very much. They loved their children very much. Unfortunately, a terrible accident had ripped them away from this world, forcing their son (at age 17) and their daughter (at age 6) to go on without their parents.

Here’s my tierlist of the new pokemon introduced in Pokemon Sword and Shield. Otherwise known as the Galarian pokemon. If it doesn’t become obvious when you compare this list to my tierlist for paldea, I kind of have a deep love for Galar and it’s designs. It was so hard to make this list. Every Pokemon in my Loved category could’ve gone into my Favourites of the Generation category. Also, I will use Pokemon from every category except for Dislike and Ew. I will be using Calyrex and Shield Form Zamazenta, much as I think they could’ve been improved with some light redesigns. I still have Inteleon and Obstagoon in my core team, even as their designs don’t work perfectly for me. The Pokemon I use don’t correspond to the ones I intrinsically love on an aesthetic level, I guess.
