rlly did enjoy watching cartoons w fellow survivor friend because like. it felt like a normal sleepover. just one where we were talking about incest a lot and putting the cartoon characters through fun little quizzes (read: psychological trauma scales related to incest) but that was exactly it because we just got to act natural without hiding anything and felt like normal people and it was actually cozy. for once. we can be ourselves and these characters can exist for us to see ourselves in them and it’s fine
Disclosure Day Steven Spielberg USA/Canada/New Zealand/Japan, 2026 ★★★★ no country for cynic men. halfway through, can’t remember exactly when, I started to think- no, to expect, something good to happen. not something “good” in the movie, but a big good in the story, an ultimate goal. a “please make it count” kind of moment. I know the Amblin way wouldn’t let me down but still, I was looking for a bright light* that could guide the movie to a proper ending. for whatever reason, I needed the story to make sense. hope, wishes, optimism, whatever, you name it, but let it be there. hopefully good ol’ Steven won’t make it too on-the-nose. and I don’t think he did, actually. he kept things rational and grounded to a point. one could argue that the Colin Firth character could’ve used more work (“gah! gummint guy bad!”) but in this context, it was always going to be a thankless role. anyway, there wasn’t a “big good”, as I was expecting. no need to, either. all the little pieces leading to whatever grand or acceptable resolution that could be there, were there, along the way. you just needed to pay proper attention - maybe it’s one of those things that you need to connect with from the beginning, or you won’t at all. I did, so the rest can suck it. I honestly think it delivers. it pairs well with 2026 me, trying to look at things more benevolently and even with a little bit of much needed optimism. I’ll rot away otherwise. one extra star for helping me test my new glasses *not the lens flares
Hi, hope it is ok to ask, I coulsnt find age on your profile but also Im very tired and wanted to follow BUT i only follow 18+ people. But i think I should probably just ask if youre an adult if Im confused. I usually try to confirm beforehand just to be responsible about using the internet and whatnot
I have 🔞 in my bio as a marker so yeah I’m an adult. Majority of our parts are syskids (maybe that’s what causes the confusion) but they all regularly function as adults too.
Dutton Ranch - Season 1, Episode 6: A Cowboy Saint (2026) - Review Dutton Ranch continues to carve out its identity as a worthy successor to the Yellowstone legacy by steering it’s closer to the original show but being on the other side of things. Episode 6 blends the gritty authenticity of Western life with simmering interpersonal drama and the ever-present undercurrents of loyalty, betrayal, and unresolved ghosts from the past. This episode shifts focus toward… Dutton Ranch - Season 1, Episode 6: A Cowboy Saint (2026) - Review
