On AOT and Backrooms films Probably someone else has already noticed and pointed this out, but since it’s been in my mind since the first scenes came out and I have yet not seen anyone in my social media commenting on it, I’m just gonna say I do think the crutch the nain protagonist, Clark, uses when in his pirate costume is an “easter egg” , or a small reference (or whatever the proper name is) to Eren’s crutch in season 4 🩼. We all know the films director, Kane Parsons, is also the creator of the realistic historical found footage of AOT. There are normally two types of crutches, but he used the same model Eren uses. Also, a pirate with a crutch is not the common sight, that called my attention the first time I saw it, my subconscious found something was off with the scene and I realised it was a pirate with a crutch instead of a hook (in fact, the terrifying giant pirate copy of himself doesn’t have a crutch). I even think they have the crutch in the same side, though I may be wrong. It’s very possible I’m seeing things and thinking there are hidden intentions where there is none of that (because if he truly wanted to make a reference, nothing screams pirate like an eye patch, and Clark’s costume doesn’t include one, and he could have hidden the eye in a sort of eye patch that referenced Eren too), but I’m calling that a subtle “homage” to AOT.

They’re having some political discussion about offing Eren iirc. It’s exploring how Mikasa coped with the events of the finale and how she ended up with Jean, because I’m a big believer than her “loving Eren more” doesn’t mean she and Jean can’t still be a good pair. They can still support each other and become close, regardless of if they’re each other’s “soulmate” or whatever. Because I also believe Jean is still hung up on Marco lol. It was good, but neither Mikasa nor Jean are particular favourites of mine, so I’m unlikely to ever return to it now my aot phase is over.
I GOT THE ALBUM, GUYS!!!! I GOT THE ALBUM!!!!! It came with 50 envelopes with 4-5 stickers each!! And the cover has texture!!!! I’m so excited, i already opened two and put one aahhh!!!! It’s so cool, i wish to have all stickers, if not i’ll have to buy more god knows where 😭😭
Junior High: Attack On Titan Manga Review Part 1: General Basics Junior High Attack On Titan review part 1 Alright, I promised my review but I fear I am going to have to split this in parts because of the word length. So here, my long awaited part 1 for all AOT fans, especially those who haven’t read this or the spoof manga. Let’s get on with some of the general information: Whilst I am too lazy to look up what came before, the anime or the manga, I do know the manga ended way after then anime did as in the scene where Armin is cross dressing, the manga actually references the anime and then we haven’t even started on the fact every guy ended up cross dressing- including our warriors Reiner and Bertholdt.Though more on that when I touch on Reiner. There also must be said that when it came to the mangaka, it was a different author then Isayama though the author pretty much worked together with Isayama for his input so it’s kind of a canon AU. Anyways, one thing I do have to compliment is the art style as a Bertholdt fangirl, because my god the anime did him dirty by choosing the design from the spoof manga rather then his actual Junior High manga counterpart. So I now have beef with the Junior High Attack on Titan anime. Because his Junior High manga counterpart is actually cute. Like seriously, compared to his anime counterpart its like comparing Witś Reiner to the glow up MAPPA gave him. The art is pretty good, to be honest. Anyways. as for my general critiques overall is that it very much is written by a millenial because the references are pretty dated and will fly over most Gen Z’s heads which is the main demographic for AoT. The series is like set in 2016/2017 so the cast was literally born in the early 2000s. Yet there are pop culture references I doubt a lot of people who actually were born in this time period would know. Like, I’m the oldest bracket of Gen Z as someone from 97’ and trust me, not everyone of my age group know UB40 and I’m several years older then even Hange and Levi are in this timeline. So everyone understanding Rico’s UB40 cover during the battle of the bands and the jokes made on UB40’s expense will fly over a lot of people’s heads. I wouldn’t have been able to understand if my mom were not a Ub40 fan! Also, Eren downright being a neo-nazi but it being semi-right and just being a running gag is just… Well, continuing with Isayama’s shitty view on WWII leaking into the property. No, not even the Junior High manga is safe from that shit. But aside from that the series was actually enjoyable, low-key shed some light on fan debates regarding the characters and it is a good time. Also, to anyone who ever themselves, ‘If Bertholdt isn’t a titan shifter, then who is the principal/Colossal Titan’? Well the manga does have an implication who that is. None other then Eren Krueger is the headmaster. As forthe origin of titans in this story… Zeke pretty much is an immortal scientist who punishes kids that have to repeat the year by transforming them into titans… Seriously, that is the origin of titans. The series is arguably even more unserious then the anime so if that is your thing, go read it. As for the rest of my review, stay tuned and please, do well in your exams if you got them soon. Or else Zeke will show up with the titan serum!
