i am a MOM holy shit! if you’ve been following me throughout this whole journey you’ll probably be just as shocked as i am to learn that i am a whole ass mother now! my baby came a month early in the spooky month of october, stayed 2 weeks in the NICU but was a rockstar during his stay, and has been a rockstar since conception. daddy and i tried to have a spooky baby but i didn’t get pregnant until our second try in february. but he made sure he was going to be a spooky baby and came early. our little demon is now over 20lbs and over 2 feet long - just under 6 months old. daddy is the man i wrote about in my last post <3 we fell in love fast and hard and said “let’s have a baby” after dating for 3 months. crazy, i know, but it was the best decision i’ve ever made. i am now free of my chains - booze - only having an occasional social drink with my bestie (yes, i have a girl bestie, too, now!). i am free of the fear - of dying alone, never experiencing the magic that is being a mom. i am free of the loneliness - with my protector by my side, i finally know the true feeling of security and love. i will add more to this later - but i wanted to get back on here and continue the long saga that is my life via tumblr. i’ve missed it here. XO. note - the rug my baby is laying on was made by hand by my step-grandmother who i’ve written about a few times over the years. we have developed a decent relationship since i announced i was pregnant, for my son is her husband’s (my biological grandfather) first great-grandchild. she made so many beautiful, quality things by hand for my son, and bought many other necessities for him and his nursery. i am forever grateful for that, and hope we continue to move on from the past and stay close in the future. <3
