This week’s Audiartist music selection moves across independent sound with real editorial care. From Carlito Home’s gentle acoustic emotion to Guiltera’s modern metal intensity, from Dark Kora’s tribal tech house energy to On Piano’s neoclassical elegance, LeSerge’s luminous instrumental soul, and Moki Solen’s intimate lo-fi jazz atmosphere, this new selection shows how wide and alive independent music can still feel. Rather than a simple list of new singles, Audiartist offers a curated listening journey shaped by identity, atmosphere, production, and artistic intention. Coolio on Underground Music, Radio and the Real Power of the Streets Coolio speaks with the kind of honesty that cuts through the noise, challenging the idea that radio is the only path to musical impact. In this interview, the West Coast rap icon reflects on underground music, street-level influence and why real culture often grows outside the industry’s official channels. Known for his unmistakable voice, sharp storytelling and lasting place in hip-hop history, Coolio built a career that connected mainstream visibility with raw authenticity. His perspective here feels especially powerful: radio can amplify a record, but it does not create the movement. The underground does. This conversation is a reminder that music culture has always been shaped by scenes, communities, DJs, local support and fans who believe before the charts arrive. Coolio’s words hit like a lesson in hip-hop survival: the industry may change, but real music always finds its way through.
Chappell Roan on The Giver, Country Music and the Audacity to Be Heard Chappell Roan opens up about The Giver and her move into country music with the kind of honesty that makes her artistry feel both fearless and deeply personal. In this conversation with Kelleigh, she reflects on how an instrumental part of her past became the foundation for a song about empowerment, identity and taking up space without apology. Known for her theatrical pop universe, bold visual language and emotionally charged songwriting, Chappell Roan has built a world where vulnerability and confidence can exist in the same breath. With The Giver, she steps into country territory while keeping the sharp personality, storytelling instinct and rebellious spirit that define her rise. This interview is about more than a genre shift. It is about voice, visibility and the audacity women often need just to be seen and heard in music. Chappell turns personal history into a statement, reminding listeners that empowerment does not always arrive quietly.

hey everyone! im finally in a good place to start posting consistently here again. i do have my big exams soon so there might be times i cant post with that but im overall much happier now and ready to get back on here! without further ado, this post is about places to find new music! finding new or even old music that’s not as well-known can be tough, so here are some places i go to find new albums or artists to listen to! bandcamp bandcamp is an awesome website to support independent artists you’re already a fan of or to explore new music from niche genres! i love this website so much in particular, because of how precise it is when looking up genres! no matter how niche it is, it will have some recommendations for you. for example, my favorite music genre is noise-pop, and this site always has awesome new recommendations, even though it’s a very niche genre! i also love the ability to support small artists on this site. if you are into any local bands or independent artists, chances are they will have a bandcamp where you can support them or buy merch! https://bandcamp.com 2. every noise at once genre map this is a more unconventional way to find music, but it’s really fun, user-friendly, and interactive! the concept of this website is that it’s a huge, map/list of every music genre ever made. by just looking at this web-page is daunting, but what i like about this website is the search function! say you already like a music artist, you can search them up and find what genres are affiliated with them. this is really good with artists where you can’t quite put your finger on the scene of music they are performing! https://everynoise.com/engenremap.html 3. dj sets this applies more if you are into electronic or pop music, but taking note of the tracks your favourite artists use in dj sets! there’s nothing greater than hearing some of the songs that inspire your favourite artists and helped shape their sound. i love doing this in particular because you can hear parts of your favourite artists sound in other musicians! most of the time you can find dj sets on sites like soundcloud! https://soundcloud.com 4. festival line-ups going to festivals and experiencing sets from artists you haven’t heard of before, or just looking at the line-ups, genre-niche festivals are a great way to find new and upcoming artists in a certain genre niche. most people attend festivals for the big names on the bill, and it’s easy to forget the smaller acts, but there are always hidden gems in the small writing at the bottom of posters! some ways to find festivals that play music you’re into is to look at festivals your favourite artists have played historically! you can do this by just searching their name with ‘festival’ after it, or looking back on their social media feeds! you can also search for a genre you like with 'festival’ after it to see similar results! 5. 'similar artist’ sections on streaming apps in the online music community its quite frowned upon to use apps like apple music or spotify for music recommendations as they’re not deemed as very good, but it’s very easy to go down huge rabbit holes and find some great bands or artists just from who’s in the 'similar artist’ section of these apps. this method works especially well if you start with a music artist with a smaller following, as it shows artists that people who listen to the same artist as you also listen to! 6. rate your music this ones a very obvious shout, but also great for finding great new music! the site states multiple ways you can use their database to find music you will like, and my favourite part about this site is how it’s curated by other music lovers! you get to read real reviews from real people and what they think about artists and albums. don’t get me wrong, music is 100% subjective and it doesn’t really matter what other people think, but it’s cool to see other people’s opinions and what they like best about an album! it makes you realise things you may not have beforehand. https://rateyourmusic.com i hope everyone found this guide helpful and that you can find some new music using some of these methods! bai >.<

Tiësto: The London DJ Booth Collapse and the BBC Radio 1 Cameo Tiësto has built a career on scale, control, and pure dancefloor momentum, but live music always carries a little chaos behind the lights. This interview revisits a wild London moment where the DJ booth collapsed, turning a polished show into the kind of story only electronic music culture can produce. Between the pressure of the stage, the unpredictability of live events, and a BBC Radio 1 cameo adding another layer to the moment, the conversation captures Tiësto beyond the superstar image. It is about the reality behind massive shows, where production, adrenaline, technical risk, and instinct all collide in real time. For fans of EDM, club culture, and behind-the-scenes stories, this interview offers a rare look at the tension between spectacle and survival, with one of dance music’s most recognizable names right in the middle of it.
