#leon x reader

I really get what you say about the Leon/resi fandom and the lack of support for oc writers but honestly — one of the biggest issues is the oc writers themselves. So few of them are actually willing to support each othe r. My story — I was posting an Leon x oc fic before requiem dropped and had a bunch of followers and moots who also wrote ocs for him and other resi characters but every single time I posted a new a oneshot/chapter I would sit and watch those same names reblog a bunch of my random posts from before and after my fic post and every damn time there wouldnt be a single like or reblog from them for the fic like okie maybe they didnt like the story themselves but it doesnt hurt to drop a reblog to help it find an audience that might enjoy it. I reblogged and reccd their stories but they never returned the support. Not once ! Got to the point I gave up working on the story and deleted it and my fandom blog because what is the point? The fandom read it but rarely engage or theres always some excuse why they dont have time to read or dont know how to comment or dont reblog and such. Its all bs!!!!! And the worst ones are those people who are supposed to understand the oc struggle cant even be bothered to help you out with a reblog or a word of support. I find it extra funny because I see some of the people engaging with your posts about these issues were the same ones who failed to support me earlier in the year but who would happily reblog and boost the shit out of the big name x reader writers (who often arent even the ones writing the best fics and don't have the best grasp of cannon or characterizations) but would give less than a crumb of support to fellow oc writers struggling to get support who are literally in their same boat. Can you make it make sense? You get what you give oc fam!

sadly anon, you have a point. it is a huge problem when writers don’t support one another, especially “niche” writers (which oc writers seem to be becoming these days) but it’s something i’ve seen and experienced myself in previous fandoms, so i feel you! there simply is very little sense of community in fandoms anymore…and what’s popular and supported (beyond smut) doesn’t seem to have any rhyme or reason to it either. it often feels less about talent/accurate characterization and more about luck half the time with what gets support and what doesn’t. but i agree, a lot of oc writers really need to do better at supporting one another out there. sorry you experienced this, i hope you continue to write in other fandoms and are appreciated for it.

is there a reason only brat-taming, choking, daddy-esque smut does well for leon? do you guys not want any fics besides ooc smut? do you not care for fics where theres an attempt to write leon in character and/or not focus on weird, rough smut? genuinely asking because i’ve seen several leon writers leave the space cause of this. no one cares to read OR write leon in character.

Leon is covertly weird about you calling him daddy and Krauser is. No actually he’s also covertly weird about it. He mocks you to your face and then he has really strange thoughts for a while. He calls you pathetic for it and then (“subtly”) tries to see if he can get you to call him that again.

Quick question about chapter 6 (idk should I put a spoiler warning?) Leon asks MC for a name of her ex. But hasn't he been informed about that even before he met MC (ch. 23)?

Hi! Yes and no, so he was never given the name before (like in the discussion in chapter 23 an ex is mentioned but no name) and Leon did not know the full extent of what he did the MC until she tells him later on.

🖤 HOMECOMING PLAYLIST + UPDATE 🖤 I finally put together a Spotify playlist for Homecoming. As most of you probably know by now, I take music very seriously when I’m writing. Certain songs end up attached to specific scenes, specific emotions, specific versions of these characters, and this playlist is basically a collection of the songs I’ve been listening to while writing Homecoming. If you’ve ever wondered what the inside of my brain sounds like while I’m drafting this story… this is probably the closest you’re going to get. 😅 Also, I wanted to give a quick update regarding the poll I posted about where to share the story. After reading through everyone’s responses, I’ve decided I’m just going to post it on both AO3 and Tumblr so everyone can read however they prefer. That said… the full Tumblr chapter posts may occasionally lag behind AO3 a little bit because I am ridiculously picky about the images, aesthetics, and Pinterest hunting that goes into putting those posts together. 😂 Finding the perfect photo is where I lose hours of my life.
