an uneventful week in the life ( as a 24 year old doing absolutely nothing all week ) After I posted my last update last week, I had a relaxing Sunday; I had my pancakes and in the evening we met up with friends for dinner. We went for Korean BBQ and it was absolutely delicious; I even had mango bingsu (shaved ice, for those who don’t know ) and came home absolutely stuffed. I was due to work the early shift again the following week, but at about half past one in the morning I suddenly felt really unwell :( In any case, I got really, really ill and was signed off work by my doctor for the whole week. Ugh… However, the week went by surprisingly quickly, especially considering I spent most of it at home. The highlight of the week was definitely our new sofa, which I am just so obsessed with. It’s huge, green, and ridiculously comfortable. We specifically picked one that pulls out into a bed so our friends can stay over more easily, and I spent most of my time on the sofa lately :) Since I was mostly stuck at home, I spent a lot of time reading, watching shows, and unfortunately doing online shopping. Being bored at home is genuinely more dangerous for my bank account than me actually leaving the flat and being out and about. Last week alone I bought a few second-hand films and books, a pair of boots from Vinted, and a new television for the living room. I keep telling myself that buying things second-hand is basically saving money lol I rewatched the first season of Twin Peaks, which was just as perfect as the last time, and I also started rewatching Gravity Falls. On top of that, I watched the new Backrooms film. That’s all I’ll say about that. If buying isn’t owning, piracy isn’t stealing :) Towards the end of the week I started feeling a bit more like myself again, which was nice. On Saturday evening our friends came over, we ordered food, played Smash Bros, and had a really lovely time. They brought these massive strawberries which were so good that I accidentally ate almost all of them by myself lmao Of course, we’ve also been playing the new Fortnite season. At launch it was honestly unbearable because one of the assault rifles desperately needed a nerf, which thankfully has happened now. Apart from Ben, none of us are completely sold on the season yet. I think they’ve changed the map and loot pool a bit too much, but despite all my complaining, we’re still spending nearly every evening hunting sprites and extracting them for our collections. Work was mostly uneventful. I did manage to mess something up, which was not ideal, but I think one of the warehouse staff has a bit of a soft spot for me, so thankfully it wasn’t as bad as it could have been :) Ben also bought me flowers because I’d been feeling so exhausted all week, and they’re now sitting in our living room looking very pretty. He also found that viral ice cream that’s been all over TikTok on accident. I had the little peach one and, honestly, it was pretty mid. At least it looked cute. As I’m writing this, I’m about to wake Ben up so he can make me pancakes ( duh ). Later we’re heading over to our friends’ place because we barely saw them during the week and I miss them a lot :)
Random Tuesday thought: To all the people that use speakerphone in public places or play music on their phones without headphones, I wish we could round you all up and put you into the same train car. Instead of a quiet car, we’ll call this a loud car and let you buffoons yell over each other for a couple hours.
School’s out, summer’s here… the fun begins!!! School’s out, which means summer is here! now, the fun begins… they changed our last day of school (friday) to a virtual day, because of a graduation at another school… bro… so, we treated thursday like the last day of school, and it was great! i was pretty sad after, thinking about all of my memories from this school year and others. it was good though :) I kinda forgot to update this so… Friday (June 12) - went swimming with my friends!! Saturday (June 13) - I didn’t really do anything all day because I randomly got a cold :,( but, i felt much better by the end of the day and celebrated my grandma’s birthday with my family + swam with my cousins! Sunday (Today, June 14) - went to the zoo! i saw some cool animals. i also went outside and rollerbladed like i usually do, but it was too hot to stay out for long. So, here’s what I did for my first 2/3 days of summer! not much, really, but i’m not worried, because this is just the beginning >:)
This is my diary now I guess My Letterboxd acc has 2 ryan gosling movies in the favorites now (phm) (barbie) and I won’t change barbie’s place but this is unexpected…. I was never a ryan gosling fan before phm he’s just so hot in the movie. And I love phm fanart so its now one of my “favorites “ I guess haha I bought this necklace today. it broke in 2 seconds of opening the package and I sat on a bank and fixed it for 40 mins . The seller was tryna bargain it w cash and he annoyed me. The fuck dude I said I have no cash why are you forcing me to pay in cash so you can do tax evasion. Anyway turkey lost to australia in world cup as if we didn’t know it was gonna happen. Turkish team sucks so bad and they’re rich as fuck. I hate them. Give the money to our beloved volleyball sultan girls. They are the best in the world, literally . I dunno why I bought a turkish flag necklace I was having a patriotic moment. I didn’t have a flag necklace
i feel so lonely even tho i have a boyfriend who loves me more than anything and who i am in love with more than ive ever loved anyone else but i feel so lonely i feel like i have no friends i wanna have a girl friend who has a boyfriend who is friends with my boyfriend so we can hang out and go on dates and im just idk i feel so lonely sometimes maybe this is cause im on my period idk
gosh it FINALLY was nice out! i went for a little run/jog in the morning to cherish the sunshine ☀️☀️ i seriously don’t know how people do it, i’m TRYING to like running i really am and it’s still a hate hate relationship MOVING ON came home, showered and then changed into this! felt cute and cozy, i should probably wash my hair though…. uh yeah ill do a slickback tmr i cba. i also did NOT do any work today, i had 10 assignments and sped run all. i still don’t know what’s going on in my maths cause i missed TWO doubles (oh sugar) . oh well problem for next year me!! no exams for me rn😁😁 okay angels!! take care of yourselves, i hope you have a good start to a new week💕get some sleep, rest and eat well ttyl bisous,, crumblekissies 💋
im so lucky !! took a quiz and I’m an enfp :) did half an hour of cardio and 200 situps, also put some money towards buying a binder. I can see the sun setting over my neighbours house and I’m very happy. i also have lots of things and im going to go to the shops tomorrow to buy oranges. have a nice night! love you lots if ur reading this whoever you are <3
this is horrible i was trying to gif him but then got distracted because i saw a shot that would go well in the webweave and then while reviewing my screenshots for that i thought of another fic idea and then i had to go back to the movie to check something for the fic and got distracted just watching him go and now i’m on tumblr posting about it
yapp session I suppose today actually went so well. I did miss my train but like, I wasn’t that late home :) also I had pizza for dinner which was so great because I don’t normally have unhealthy food but it was so tasty ToT I’ve also been clean for like three days. also I did three hours of revision and 200 sit-ups so I’m feeling very productive even if I might not get any sleep. how was your day? not sure how many people are reading this but feel free to lemme know in the comments :) or don’t if you don’t want to. I’m honestly feeling actually hopeful. It’s a pretty new feeling now that I’m starting to look forward to tomorrows again. :) baiiiii
Monday, June 15 - I went swimming with my cousins and hung out with my friends :D I got to watch my friend swing from the branch of a tree… it kinda worked (until the branch broke) ._. also I got McDonald’s :D it was yummy but I’m starting to realize that I don’t like McDonald’s food as much as I used to and don’t really crave it anymore… I thought the day would never come O.o Overall, today was great!! Although I did get a light sunburn on my face from spending most of the day outside.. it was worth it though 😛🤷♀️
6/11/2026, first day of summer for me! Today’s outfit wasn’t anything crazy, I just wore shorts with a grey tank top and black vans. However I think that basic outfit paired with my hair in braids, and my jewelry made for a cute subtle Latina look. Today my mom, my sister, and I went to a new grocery store that opened in our area. I took some pictures but they weren’t worth posting, but it was lit. We got some snacks and stuff for dinner hehehe. Also I found out I got a job today!! #awesome Kinda mid first post but it is all up hill from here
Today was such a perfect mix of feeling relaxing while moving around a lot. I tried the Shirley Temple Bloom and it was only ok- I like the summer time flavor way more. I finished listening to Mary Jane and really liked it! I’m glad I listened to it because it made the songs and music really come to life. I think I finished this one in two days. One of my big goals this summer is to not sunburn my face a single time, so I broke down and bought a mom hat. I wish I had always been careful with the sun. Finally time to relax with some popcorn and junk TV 🩷
