Husbandry is a part of Manhood training, something I didn’t learn about until just 3 years ago. I had to do some reading for that. Prior to, all aspects of positive masculinity I learned from observing and asking Real Black Men questions. Between living in NYC, traveling and living in Nashville, I made it my business to watch how our older brothers carried themselves. And when I was satisfied with what I’ve learned, I drilled them. Also, I had to look up Dr. Amos Wilson on Manhood & Masculinity. I say all of that to say that I know what a real Black Man is and what we’re truly about. We’re out here every day handling our business, from making sure our children are safe and taken cared of to providing safe spaces for women to be intuned with their femininity. We don’t broadcast these things on social media because being responsible aint got shit to do with ego. We don’t incorporate structure into the children to make us feel better about ourselves. ITS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. We don’t protect our women to get a hard on. IT’S THE RIGHT THING TO DO. And we’re sure as hell not an embarrassment to ourselves and by extension, others because ITS THE RIGHT WAY TO LIVE. Men do right by themselves and others. Niggras don’t. With that said, my sisters… please take a hard look at yourself and pay more attention to who or what you’re entertaining. If he is indeed a man then love him harder and let him love you so you can blossom. If he is a clown then you have yourself to blame, not that fool.
