ENTITIES OF NOTE - GOEDERAN Goederan is perhaps the most mysterious of the Old Faith Gods. Among her faithful, she is known primarily for three things. Lady of the Stars The first is her supreme mastery of the Cosmos. Her power certainly flirts with the Blue Wind, but the Druid claim it is different; greater. Where Astromancers divine portents and call down lightning and meteors in the heat of battle, Goederan is the one who places the stars and constellations. She is the one who girdles planets in lunar belts and flits between the cosmic spheres to this or that planet, but always to Malleus does she return and so it is surmised there she was born. Even before the Old Ones arrived, the everwinter of the world did not bother her. Space was cold, after all, and she was well equipped to deal with it in a way much of life on Mallus was not, leading some to speculate Goederan was from the frozen planet of Obscuria. The second of her well known traits is her relation to the other gods and some of the spirits of the loose Pantheon. While the question of their sire has many proposed answered, Goederan is unanimously agreed to be the Mother of the Gods, with Ishernos being her favored child and Medhe the Stormlord being her most self-same; a fellow Astromancer, though not as grand as his mother. Finally, she is known for her distance. Unlike her children, who engage more readily and directly with mortals, Goederan prefers to observer life from afar, within the confines of the heavens. If one is lucky, say the Druids, one might glimpse her shooting across the sky in her silver chariot. Rarer still is to be acknowledged and blessed by her, as Goederan’s concerns are cosmological and she finds it hard to relate to individual mortal beings. The Disputed Truths of the Goddess of the Cosmos Despite the general tendency for the Old Faith and it’s followers to be dismissed, some scholars who pay them even half a genuine mind have noted the accord between how Goederan is described and how the Elven Lorekeepers describe the Old Ones: Silvered Chariots racing across the heavens. For a Religion chiefly concerned with earthly matters, it is odd that a deity of the Cosmos would feature and she indeed stands out among the gods and spirits. Similar to the Old Ones, described as mysterious and, Goederan is described as distant and unrelated, more interested in the stars than the beings who live beneath them, even as she patrons the planet. The Truthsayers claim that the Godlike Old Ones tutored them on Albion and that the ancient stones raised there keep the darkness of Chaos at bay. The truthsayers are druids, their culture centered around nature; so are the Old Faither Keepers, venerators of natural forces. Perhaps it is not a far stretch to claim that Goederan was an Old One, teaching the primitive tribes of men just as that mysterious race did. Perhaps she was even a scout for the Old Ones, surveying the planet and flitting off to the report her findings. Perhaps Goederan was a Herald of things to come in those ancient days… Notably, however, the Old Ones are explicitly absent in Belthani Druids tellings of their own lore and they seem to be unaware of the many coincidences between her and the world-shapers. While the Druids agree their Goddess is ageless, they pay it no more mind that and have no clear idea of the exact age of the Lady of the Stars. According to some of the most ancient dragons, roused from their slumber by insistent lorekeepers willing to risk life, limb and trade treasures for half-remembered truths, the Silver Chariot of Goederan has been seen since the Primeval age and she has a place among draconic culture. But the Dragons make no indication of her being an Old One. They maintain, quite stubbornly, that Goederan’s home was every planet orbiting the sun. Mallus was merely the sight of her nest, where Medhe (first patron of Dragon Ogres), Cailldhe (patron of Behemoths), and Naidhe (patron of the Marnocks) were born. The dragons snidely boast that they kept no patrons, even if they still did accord respect to Goederan. However, her mastery of the ten planets of Soll would be challenged with the arrival of the Old Ones. Goederan’s Chariot was seen, they say, gleaming the same silver as the Newcomer’s ships. She disappeared into the firmament and what happened beyond then no dragon is sure of. However most lean towards her being slain, captured, run off, or otherwise removed from the picture. And in her place, a son, the Damner Ishernos. The dragons sneer there is no Goederan anymore, not truthfully. Perhaps an impotent spirit kept alive by Men of the Old Faith and Jade Order, but nothing like the primeval age. Even her children are dead, slain by the forces of Chaos and rendered down to spirits that share the name of the gods, but not their power. Only Ishtaran, perhaps, survives and he is the Shame of the Stars.
Slaanesh and Ïshtaran have coupled countless times since they first met, and the Prime has sired six children on the Prince, but curiously, Slaanesh has never actually seen Ïshtaran. As in, his anatomy; Ïshtaran is rather evasive about this, possibly credible to the fact that unlike his sire(s), he a solidly mammalian ( maybe monotreme) rather than Amphibious or Reptilian adjacent like the Old Ones. Slaanesh thinks this is pathetic. Slaanesh thinks it’s cute. Slaanesh thinks its a fun game to slip the God of the Seasons into himself and try to guess by touch alone what Ïshtaran would conceal from him. Of course, the Prince could easily uncover this secret if he desired, but where’s the fun in that?
Perhaps it’s no secret to the Russian-speaking community, but here’s an interesting fact: Ivan Okhlobystin, an actor and Orthodox priest, played the role of Sigmar Unberogen in the music video “Sigmar” by the band Stymphonia. What can one say? ГОЙДА, For the glory of the Empire of men!
Hobbying from tonight. I had one metal Orc boar rider left that I wanted to convert into a Weirdnob Shaman on Wyvern. The wyvern was a zombie dragon from Reaper Miniatures I cut off the arms, smoothed out the stomach and neck with greenstuff, reposed the tail and wings, and made a fur saddle out of greenstuff for the nob to sit on. I used a spiked shoulder pad to make a collar for him and glued some jewelry chain to the end of it. Baking soda and super glue everywhere to reinforce any parts I was afraid might break. Also added a bunch of dwarf bits to the base to taunt my friend who plays dwarves! I’m very happy with how this conversion came out, the sculpting might look a little rough right now but I think as soon as I prime the whole thing it’ll look fine. Just got to wait for the greenstuff to dry.
Khorne cults are brilliant: they pillage and murder, so whatever survivors they leave behind join Khorne cults so they can pillage and murder the dudes who fucked them over. But, in their fury, they end up pillaging and murdering civilians along the way, repeating the cycle. If I wasn’t a dumbass, I imagine this might be great social commentary for something.
battle beast and khorne worshippers may seem very similar at first glance due to the whole blood fueled murder boner frenzy, but i would actually feel safe sitting next to battle beast on a train both khorne and battle beast alledge to have a “only fight those as strong as/stronger than you” code, but battle beast actually sticks by it, and any given khorne worshipper might actually just be as strong as me, so battle beast would inherently be less of a gamble the same is true for Predators from Predator I’d like to think you could trust battle beast to hold a baby, and for that baby to be safe mostly
How often have you seen Khornes 🍆?

Gunpowder and Zeal (Open RP) Balthazar Gelt was not a fool, he knew that the only way forward was through technological superiority. Gelt had seen first-handed how a charge of Chaos Knights could be brought low by a well timed volley from a well disciplined troop of handgunners. No matter how well trained and well armed a knight was, how many tourneys and jousts they had won, no matter how many wars they had personally fought in. A cannonball, forged of lead or iron, would always win in it’s counter charge. When the foul warp portal had landed his troop in, whatever land this was, backward and unenlightened in its simplicity he had noticed immediately the way knights charged so blindly into his gun lines as though his bayonetted handguns were nothing more than glorified short spears. He had immediately proven the enemy commander incorrect. Knights in their all too shiny armour were felled as rank after rank of handgunners sent hot lead death at high velocity. With practiced ease the crews of cannons loaded and aimed their payloads and freed the battlefield of their foe’s presence. Hellblasters coughed and sputtered more hot lead out over the fleeing remnants. “Find survivors and bring them to me” he allowed himself a smile behind his golden mask, not that his troops could see, and began making his way to their temporary camp “we will learn this place and in The Empires name we will dominate”
There is a loop of sorts between mortals and the Chaos Gods, with the favoured race of a god informing how a deity thinks, feels, and even forms itself. In this case, that is the race of man, namely those from the North who actively reach back to the Gods in the Aethyr. Khorne’s self-concept is that of great monstrous canid because mortals believe it is so; Nurgle is a bloated leprous corpse of amphibious suggestion for the same reason. Slaanesh is a particularly extreme expression of the mortal influence on how the gods perceive themselves, as beauty is incredibly subjective and so the Prince accounts for every form (even as he has his own preferred one). Then there’s Tzeentch. The Changer is unique in that he is not as strongly influenced by men and his personality (all of them) is far more a result of his own divising, as well as his own madness. He is more firmly anchored to the warp and like the warp, his natural “state” is endless flux. However, over time, endless flux itself becomes a kind of constancy and so the Changer will suspend even this and take something like a stable form for a brief time. This form is informed entirely by Tzeentch’s own predilections. He has a inexplicable fondness for winged beasts of the sky and the sea, but especially the sky: birds. Tzeentch is, for reasons no one can quite grasp, an ornithophile. Several theories have been put forth and it is generally agreed that avians are sort of an embodiment of his element in nature: wind. And so there is a strange kinship between them and the Windlord, who forms himself after them (however monstrous a shape that avian-esque form is).
can you do Aenarion the Defender from Warhammer Fantasy?
If Aenarion the Defender (Warhammer Fantasy) was in Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire, which Great House of Westeros would they be part of or at least the most affiliated with? House Targaryen House Stark House Lannister House Baratheon House Greyjoy House Tully House Arryn House Martell House Tyrell Ways to approach the poll if the character isn’t a royal: If you think they’d be from a smaller house, go with the Great House that that smaller house is sworn to (ex: House Manderly —> vote Stark) They don’t have to be a nobleperson, they can be someone working for the house or being ruled by them. Roles could be a sworn-sword, a septa, a butcher, a blacksmith, or even a lowly peasant. You can consider the region itself. For example, if you feel the character would be from Dorne, pick House Martell. You can consider the personality of the character. For example, if your character is all about honor, then consider either House Arryn or House Stark. Last, but not least, be creative with it! For example, there was a comment I read that the character who was the subject of the poll would be pulling a Littlefinger, so they went with either Lannister or Tyrell as that would be that character’s target houses.
In the Realm of Chaos, Nurgle tends to his Garden of Blight, where he grows sickly blooms, tangled growths, and horrific daemon fungus. In a foetid grove stands a mocking statue of Taal, with spread horns drooping and foul excrescence seeping from its rotten wood. A Sorcerer of Nurgle, Anton Spuckspore, has seen this statue in his dreams and seeks to put cursed replicas throughout the land, which will allow the Garden of Blight to seep slowly into the world.
