Hey, so I got sick recently and, during my delirium, I thought to myself “Didn’t I post that?” Turns out, I didn’t. Fully forgot to make a post about one of my stories since I assumed I already had. No time like the present! My short story “And the Hero Arrived” is on Academy of the Heart and Mind. I wrote it some time ago, but I’m still proud of the overall story if not the actual prose. I’ve definitely learned some more tricks since then. If anyone wants to check it out, feel free! And the Hero Arrived One thing forgetting to show this off until now helps with is filling dead air while I work on my bigger project. About two thirds of the way done with that, and I’m plenty excited to finally put it out there! I’ve also got another story awaiting release that I submitted in a writing contest! I’ll make a post about that when it comes out.
Dirty Little Fairy Tale ~ Origin out on 11/11/24 on Amazon and Kindle! You wanna know why I like the pain you say There’s some sick part of me thankful for the hate I stay positive, and I push forward ya see I gotta do the right thing for my family So I smile and say that the world is just fine As those fucking parasites eat up my spine So I ask you once and I ask you again Where do your roots starts and where you your roots end? ~In This Moment That song has always resonated with me. Roots by In This Moment is just one of the many songs that created my new book, Dirty Little Fairy Tale ~ Origin. Origin by Dayseeker, The Fountain by Bad Omens, Death Roll by Wage War, Eternally Yours by Motionless in White are just a handful of songs that created my book and soundtrack. In This Moment has a total of four songs on my soundtrack. Then you have some not so known songs like Blood in the Water by Catch Your Breath and Anunnaki by Silent Planet. When I tell you that metal music fueled my book, it’s no lie. What is Dirty Little Fairy Tale ~ Origin about exactly? Below is the blurb you can find on Kindle and Amazon. Arya lives in a supernatural world where she is surrounded by vampires, werewolves, witches and so much more. She has no idea what she’s getting herself into when she discovers there is more to her than meets the eye. It’s then she discovers that she is meant to save the world from a demonic takeover. And that is the short version of it. The layers of the story go deep. There are subplots no matter what way you look at it. There are paranormal aspects, supernatural aspects, and lots and lots of spicy material. It took me roughly about five years to write the book due to life getting in the way. I did my own publishing through Amazon and Kindle. With spicy material in the book, they do not allow marketing on their platform (which is unfortunate), so this me, doing my own marketing. The book is releasing on Amazon and Kindle platforms on 11/11/24. Book two (Dirty Little Fairy Tale is a series) has already begun. The Curse of Cain will arrive in 2025! Go grab a copy of this already much anticipated book in what looks to be a very thrilling and spicy series.

Ahh ganz, ganz lieben Dank! Alles selbst illustriert. - And for my english speaking lovelies: This is the German version of BttS - my queer / mm high fantasy. 💕🥰 All Illustrations are painted by me (and there is lots of character art as well 🥹) I’m also including a picture of the cake , because a lovely queer reader, who’s a baker, made it himself and brought it to me at Leipzig Book Fair. He told me it was his first time ever visiting a book fair, and he came just to say thank you – because this book changed his life. 😭✨ I could barely hold back my tears. I’ll cherish that moment forever.
Ladies and gentlemen: I’ve been moving houses all week and wasn’t able to get to the mail until this morning; but, I saw the pink package sitting in the box and my day is made. (Don’t mind the stack of books I’m sorting in the corner.) Look at it! Absolutely fantastic. I can’t wait to reread this story and find all the little nuances that you’ve added. Go give Ren some love, y'all. @the-ginger-hedge-witch @ren-browne-writes Happy Crush Day is any day and everyday.
Been waiting a while to say this, but Issue 16 of Wishbone Words is out, and it’s got one of MY stories, The Last Abbot, included in it! I’ll be real, The Last Abbot touches on some political themes that are important to me. Only read on if you’re comfortable with that. If you’ve ever felt like things are going nowhere because we’re all running through the same revolving door of people from one disappointing leadership to the next, The Last Abbot touches on that. It’s a story about how, even if there were the few diamonds in the rough through a country’s worst administrations, cabinets, or whatever you want to call them, that doesn’t give those people the right to dictate your next four or even fifty years from the shadows or front and centre. We deserve better than the least worst. A million thank yous to Wishbone Words! https://wishbonewords.com/magazine/issue-16
I’ve had another short story published! Check it out on page 20. I really enjoyed writing the comedic aspects. I spent a lot of my childhood playing British-made adventure games, RPG’s, and the like, and they really captured a kind of comedy that no one has managed to replicate in modern games. I hope I was able to capture some of that Fable and Black & White charm with Alberix. Big thanks to The Gilded Dragon! The Gilded Gazette - May Issue
Keeping these screenshots as a reminder of good memories. My first published book, Only Pure Hearts Can Break the Spell ang pinag-uusapan sa post. And yes, it was published 2009. I will never be Melai Quilla today, if hindi ako sumugal sa tadhana dati. Bagama’t parted ways na kami ng pinsan ko, still this story is ver important to me. After years, saka ko lang nakilala itong readers na to. Akalain mo yon?! I inspired them (the readers) but they inspire me to continue crafting words ten times fold. Dear Lord, sana makatapos uli ako ng fantasy novel. For them… For my old self.
https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/the-vanished-worlds-alex-huntsman/1146959869 Figured I should announce it here, but my first novel has officially published!! I’ve been working on this story for the past few years, and never thought I’d actually publish until I stumbled across an indie publisher at a Ren Faire last summer. Now, that story is available to you in paperback! It’s a campy sci-if romance inspired by 80’s and 90’s novels, but gayer This novel tells the story of Tristan and Joane, the former pilot and bodyguard (respectively) of a brash, hard-edged scientific crew. Years after a falling out drove their crew apart, the pair are reunited when their former employer turns up missing in connection with a slew of Vanished Worlds (get it) Armed with their wits, what few clues their old friend left them, and a whole lot of unresolved baggage, the pair are forced to travel across the universe trying to put together the pieces of the puzzle, learn to trust one another again, and maybe confront the feelings that drove them apart in the first place.
ANNOUNCEMENT!!! So guys I know I disappeared and dropped off the face of the earth (…again) but life happens so what can you do? But I have news!!! YOUR GIRL IS PUBLISHED!! So over the past few months I’ve been working on an anthology with so many talented writers and it’s finally here!!!!! I like to think of this as my first step into publishing an actual novel of my own as this process really gave me a lot of insights into the whole publishing process from writing to editing. To anyone interested, you can read my story “The Silk Noose”- by Inshrah Faisal (me) in this anthology. The short story explores the complex layers of gender discrimination and oppression, showing how these issues manifest differently across various cultural and social classes. People interested in supporting me and buying the whole anthology can do so through the links below: Amazon Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK34ZHYJ For Pakistani readers on here: https://twspublications.com/products/the-outcasts?_pos=1&_psq=the+ou&_ss=e&_v=1.0&fbclid=PAY2xjawF7EkBleHRuA2FlbQIxMAABpvRv_OMdP4NpZ0_fEDiPaFfa5jABK9s3HTJ0k2CJP0XXR-dMLrHeqSP31A_aem_luyGXKg5su7IxCPvCcO0og&sca_ref=7185247.JDdcwPUjQG Thank youuuu!!!!!🤍
