Thanks to the very kind words my World Eaters “helmet” garnered across my channels, I decided to paint the first of the Khorne Berzerkers as a way to celebrate 😁 Added some green stuff and neon paint to really make his plasma pistol pop 😊
Alongside my previously completed sergeant, I now have four more marines completed in the current commission - with the other five very nearly done 😁 Interesting challenge, this commission, but I’m enjoying the slow progress I’m making 😁 Remember; if you like the look of these, they will be auctioned off by Esse House UK later in the year to help support trans and non-binary people - I’ll share the details nearer the time! 😊
Karnus the Seeker ready for war! 🥳 He was only a tenner and Stormcasts are always fun and quick projects for an afternoon so I decided to treat myself 😁 Also had a play around creating some lightning for him with some 15 amp fuse wire - really happy with the finished product 😊

To go with my new tattoo, I have the new Iron Warriors Combat Patrol box 🥳 Started with the Warpsmith and I’m pretty happy with the result (despite not being initially sure about the asymmetrical helmet) 😊 Also tried masking tape for the hazard stripes. Medium successful 😅🤣
I’ve changed the name of the blog. It was a long time coming, and I think it’s just a bit more personal. My name is Jamie, and I paint lots of plastic. www.instagram.com/jamiepaintsminiatures

Only one finished model in April but it’s a nice big one: a Land Raider Achilles. As with my other templar tanks i decorated it with candles, skulls, and my army’s symbol of a broken blade, albeit a little more restrained because the original model has such a nice tight buttoned-in silhouette i didn’t want to spoil it with *too* many greebles. In fact, i kitbashed a fairly elaborate turret for the multi-melta that I ended up not using because it was too upright and spoiled the louche silhouette. This took about half the month, and the rest was starting work on a Gitmob force, specifically last year’s launch box. I’ve painted the six “snarlfangs” (they’re wolves, just call them wolves) and am currently working through the riders. Designing the colour scheme has been a bit of a pain but it’s coming together. Next month, my goal is to finish those guys and also do the two chariots from the kit. they look like a pain to put together but I really like the models when they’re done. That will probably take the lion’s share of the time, but if there’s any time left I can move on to Droggs, or the snarlpack warband that would finish off the Spearhead. I want both of those done before late june when the new 40k launch box releases.
