okay I do NOT know how to do this… I’ve always been a wattpad girly and I’ve recently found out about tumblr (I’m loving this) and also ao3. I started writing this book in november 2025 and I literally wrote only this prologue down here because of school, I hope that summer will make me write more because I don’t even know if I should keep going with this project (even though I’m working on the first chapter and I have so many ideas), that’s why I’m posting this part here, I need to know if other people besides my friends like this. english is not my first language so I’m sorry if there will be any mistakes. anyway, this COULD be “ Moonbound ”❤️ Year 1666, Friday, November 17th. Shadowhaven smelled of smoke and rotten meat. The plague had eaten the streets, but that night it wasn’t the disease that scared Kane Moon . But the silence in his heart. The knight and warrior Kane, noble heir of the Moon dynasty was ready to defend all of Shadowhaven City—even Nyxhaven, not only the part of Shadowhaven City—if there was a need, but above all that cursed, and beautiful, witch. Selene Machaira . His witch. The Kingdom of Shadowhaven had been divided into several districts, twelve under the leadership of the Machaira family and six under the leadership of the Moons. The capital itself—Shadowhaven City—was divided equally between the two prestigious families: Nyxhaven for the Machairas and Moonshadow for the Moons. Selene had been locked up in the Moon’s castle, in Moonshadow, where Kane—fortunately—had no problem getting in. More precisely, she was locked in cell number ten, just like the number of the district where they used to hide from everyone every Friday, Blossom Beach . That Friday, November 17th should have been the same for them. Bow hunting, then eating tasty berries for a snack and lying on the vast green lawn barefoot with their hair wavy by the light pleasant wind. They had thought of a small pond lost in district ten as a hiding place. They would never find them, and so it was. Selene was the third of the Machaira family. The firstborn— M ilo—the favorite, was destined for political life. Her older sister S yrena was the best cook in the whole kingdom, she fed the poorest district for a whole month years before. Her younger sister L una was a highly esteemed artist for her semplicity and youth. In short… a family of talents, yeah? Selene was a witch, though. A real witch. From an early age she discovers the beauty and depth of the world that makes everything possible: the world of magic, of witchcraft. Her big and all too curious eyes took her to death. Kane was willing to defend her, or ready to do it… the only thing that stopped him from saving Selene? His family, for obvious reasons, unaware of their stubborn love, and above all destined. The square was already ready. The rope dangled like a sentence already written. Everything was already decided, nothing to do. Selene Machaira was kneeling in the middle of cell ten. Her knees dirty from the tiled floor and full of ash and dust, her hands tied to prevent her from running away—as if she needed it. The skin once pale as the snow that Kane loved so much now dirty with soot and tears now dry on her face. She was wearing a crumpled and grained robe that, useless as it was, it would have made no difference whether or not to have it in that cold November. When she looked up at her Kane, she didn’t look like a condemned one. Just a twenty-one-year-old girl who already knew her fate. << Don’t cry ,>> she whispered. << Not now .>> << Not ever .>> Kane knelt at her height with despair in front of the metal bars, fingers intertwined in hers. << I swear I’ll take you away, Sele. I’ll find a way —>> Selene shook her head. << There is no more time. My magic —>> A tear falls from Kane’s cerulean eyes. << No, K …>> She carefully picked the single tear with her thumb, then engraved her plam with a small pointed stone like a blade. << Selene, no —>> << It’s the only way >> She mixed the red blood wine of both in a quick and painless cut. She intertwined their icy hands. The power of magic and their love was beginning to warm them up. << Listen to me ,>> Selene whispered. << We’ll meet again. It doesn’t matter if days, years, centuries will pass. Not even death can ever stop our love, my love for you. And my promise will seek you until the end of the ages .>> << I’ll follow you soon .>> He smiled sadly. Selene knew what he meant, but she would never let him, neither now nor ever. She would never ever allow him to give up. She resumed her speech. << You have to promise me that you won’t let yourself go after the show. I won’t let you do the same as me, Kane >> Kane smiled at her, grateful to have had her at least for their last years together. A sound of keys interrupts their conversation. Selene took a deep breath. << I’ll leave you a message .>> He shook her hand one last time and kissed her carefully. << Look for it in the life that comes .>> A few hours later, all of Shadowhaven City saw exactly what everyone called “ The Show ”. Everyone was enjoying and rejoiced at the death of a witch… He couldn’t stand to observe her as she accepted her fate slowly, with her feet in the air and held only by a rope around her neck. She was breathing with difficulty, her vision began to blur like a fog by the time. But the only thing that made her smile in such a cruel moment was not seeing Kane in the crowd. He was a warrior, yes, but too sensitive to see her soul slip away from her body like that. Kane, however, understood that the real pain wasn’t losing her, but knowing that he would keep living without an actual reason. The months that followed were so tragic that he could barely stand on his feet in that world that was just too, too cruel and sad to be considered human. He walked with difficulty, but he didn’t give up. He was still standing. Waiting for his Selene to come back to him . But the wait wasn’t as short as he thought. “Only” three hundred and forty-eight years later their soul would meet again, making sparks. So close, yet so far away.

I am starting to develop my own book that is not a fanfiction it will be called Ultra Violet and will follow the story of Angelo Mclane who is a chemist which accidentally creates a chemical radioactive flower. After losing all his memories he is trying to discover who he is.
