nemesis (1992, dir. albert pyun) movie poster https://youtu.be/6fyMQuah9Dw?si=LVYVcQSsNjE86ukB ugh looks like they unhooked the embed video function in the old editor as well when they changed the video handler over to neue post format recently. oh well. i watched this movie on youtube at the link above. it blurred out the nudity though but i like this movie enough to look into a physical copy. not sure which of the many cuts it is but it isn’t one with noir style narration ala blade runner theatrical.
After like 9 years, I finally update my boy Spiers. For those who know me, he was my blorbo prime back in the day. He’s always got a place in my heart, and definitely has a place in my story. His black sclera is usually hidden by shades protecting his eyes from the light. He uses shadows to traverse and to store objects. When he enters a shadow, he enters a pitch black realm, lit up by dots of light (shadows in our world) which he uses to end up somewhere else. He does not stay long in that shadowy place because he swears something else lives in it and he’s not going to stick around to find out. He puts on a cool guy facade but there’s a lot more going on under all that. Think of him as your crime friend who really doesnt want you to know he does crimes, but you kinda just know.
