Elder Faerie short is canon y'all believe me

don’t think i ever posted this one yet , it’s like a month or so old but i’m still very proud of it . for those who don’t know , this is an oc x canon ship 💕 chocolate mousse cookie is MY oc (on the right) and almond cookie is a canon character (on the left) , my design for almond cookie isn’t how he directly looks in canon but rather my own interpretation . i’ve been meaning to post this on here actually but i just kept on forgetting 😭 also here are the close-ups 💪💕

look at this man. isn’t he very is? i like how he’s so very. quite indeed. is it obvious how much i hate drawing masc faces (says me who consciously chose to make 3 out of my 4 characters some kind of masc) and no he’s not blind. wait i don’t think i’ve ever shown him on this page…. there. he’s a faerie and has the light of hope or whatever. highly inspired by northern caucasian (like caucasus, the mountains in the southwest of russia) stuff. narzan is a kind of seltzer. salty carbonized water that’s usually drinked warm or hot and is believed to have healing qualities. he has a dead wife and two daughters

So, I wouldn’t do this usually, and I know Father wouldn’t approve of me doing this, but I have a question… It’s faint, but sometimes, I can hear a quiet sobbing near to the room where Father keeps me. It’s not Father, I know his voice well, and it doesn’t sound like him crying. And it… intrigues me. And… I ventured out, against his wishes. I couldn’t see anything, but I could hear something. The soft buzzing of wings, and a voice. A voice constantly, over and over, reprimanding itself, whispering, “Get out of my head, I shouldn’t be thinking about you! Just leave me alone…” Whoever it was, they sounded… upset, at themself. Yelling about someone refusing to leave their head. But… I don’t know who, or why they sounded so close, being… so disgusted at themself… why would someone infecting your head be disgusting? Is it similar to if I even so ask a question about my papa… Father freezes up and his face falls? Is whoever this was, feeling guilty over the person infecting their head and why? Why would that make them guilty? Shouldn’t someone infecting your head bring only happiness? But then why had their voice then softened, and they sounded so defeated? Saying… “Who am I kidding? My heart hasn’t caught up to my head… I’m such a fool…” How does someone infecting your head make you a fool? Does Father feel like a fool, for whatever happened between him and Papa? Is… Papa even real?
