I actually caught sunshine in my pocket. consider me gleeful. consider me exuberant.

I took a walk, drew precariously close to the edge of a pond (thankfully, no alligators—if it isn’t already a given that I have lived to recount my adventures). I listened to Virginia Woolf’s “A Room of One’s Own.” I like to remember that I am nothing. Nothing in comparison to the magnitude that precedes and outlasts my fickle humanness. It is a sobering thought—collapses even the most elaborate of problems. For a little while, at least. Yes, I have kleptomaniac tendencies when it comes to leaves and flowers. Yes, I stash them in my room.

I curled my friends hair💖 so the procedure was brush her hair 2. she washed her hair in shower 3. I blow dry hair 4. I spray heat protection and curl I felt so whimsy doing it because I got to use those quick curler things that twist themselves for the first time. I used it in my sister first and then my friend. It’s like preppy pastel pink colored with a matte feel to it.
