Sure, they’re expensive, but they’re utilitarian and set up to have tons of storage. From storage crates to pannier racks to Molle panels, these urban runabouts are set up to haul whatever you could imagine from records to surfboards. As such, it shouldn’t be surprising that these bikes are popular with urban creatives, celebrities, and anyone looking for a pedal-equipped e-bike with a little panache, including the people behind 2023’s “Barbie.” Yes, just so happens that a Super73 bike also made a cameo in the toy franchise blockbuster of the summer, Barbie. I won’t dish out any spoilers, lest you haven’t seen the film, but you can catch a glimpse of the bike later in the film. In celebration of this little product placement and the wonders of counter-programming, Super73 has unveiled two one-off bikes, one for Barbie and one for Oppenheimer.
