One of my favorite projects for The Sims 3 started with a simple thought: what if TS3 had its own modern tech ecosystem? The biggest inspiration behind this idea was Arnie’s Plumfruit mod for The Sims 4. I always loved the concept of a complete ecosystem of connected devices, but nobody had really brought something similar to The Sims 3. So I decided to try. Both PrismPhone and PrismPad share most of their functionality. In fact, they combine interactions from smartphones, computers, and the MultiTab 6000 tablet into a single experience. Some interactions require a functional world, such as Online Newspaper, which displays all newspaper interactions instead of only “Check Weather” (as shown in the video). I’m going to create some posts here to showcase the WIP, and I’ll also publish a few videos on my TikTok account (@MrDavidVeiga).
