Leave no Autobot uncrushed. So I. Finally committed to drawing Menasor. I’ve had this vision for a while now but i finally. did something. i thought of doing a screenshot redraw but decided on a more static pose for me to focus on the design details. i’m gonna clarify that i’ve rarely ever drawn armor before so… yeah. forgive me if things look a bit off. this is slightly based on my own design for menasor i scribbled during the stunticons’ birthday last year, hence the helm design and specific horn shape. the armor on her two arms are intentionally different (the drag strip side is a pauldron while the dead end side is a full arm. armor. idk how else to put it) (the tire track patterns on the armor is from my dead end design also done during the birthday mochiformer piece) becomes… I mean for combiners asymmetry is almost par for the course and I just really liked the image I had in my head, though I’m not super sure about the pauldron strap blocking the chestplate a bit. as for the chestplate, it’s pretty straightforward, based on g1 menasor’s chassis (also drawing the con logo was trickier than i imagined). why is her long hair down??? idk. not the most practical decision, but a la what I did for wildrider, i don’t know if she would care. alternatively, it’s a ponytail. some of my design choices are… genuinely more for aesthetic purposes than anything. ALSO. menasor looks like she has differently colored eyes here but that is just me messing up while doing the eyes. that being said when i do make a coloured version I won’t be opposed to giving them some form of heterochromia… aight i’m tired and out of words. peace out.

Not getting finished today probably because I’m going to an outdoor aviary “This is bullshit.” Axel thought to herself as she loaded the custom-made electric rounds into her sniper rifle. “Ten solar cycles working for the ‘Bots and they still won’t put me on the frontlines. I know how to work a regular blaster, for Primus’ sake!” She grumbled as she fired a shot directly into a Decepticon footsoldier’s processor, watching as they slumped to the ground in front of their comrades. Axel was by no means forged to be a frontline soldier— more like someone with the build to be a stealth operative, quick on their pedes to get in and get out with stolen intel —but that didn’t mean she was bad at it! Her superiors had simply seen her remarkable skills with a sniper and shoved her into the first open roost they could find. She was still a bit salty about that. It’s not that she wasn’t happy about her current position, in fact she found a sick sense of joy in firing shot after shot into enemy troops, but she often did wish that she could be more than just another sniper hidden up in the safety of a roost. She’d had dreams of leading her own troop of underdogs when she was younger, marching them onto the battlefield with a blaster in her hand and pride in her spark, but those had been the dreams of someone who was naive enough to ignore every horrible crime that her faction had committed during this ages-long war. A distant explosion snapped her out of her daydreaming, and she cycled her optics to get a better look at the ground below her. Her gaze landed on another advancing group of Decepticons, led by a hulking mass of gray and black. Megatron.

i’m deciding what to name the first chapter of my ‘minimus ambus in tfp’ fic my first option - and what the chapter’s been since i started writing it - is: 'In Shining Armour’ my second option is: 'Knight in Shattered Armour’ i’m finishing up the chapter right now, and as i get closer to publishing, i just can’t decide which one’s better. for context: after ultra magnus and wheeljack blow up shockwave’s lab and the predacon clones, predaking uses the hammer of solus prime to completely smash in ultra magnus’ body - giving minimus no choice but to reveal himself so! i’m gonna put it up to a vote Which title for chapter one sounds better? In Shining Armour Knight in Shattered Armour See Results they’re so close, thematically, that i can’t choose. one is an allusion to a classic phrase, the other twists that phrase for more relevency
