Happy #NaturePhotographyDay 🐮 😃 I thought I’d share something a bit different this morning. I absolutely love nature photography, but instead of my usual landscape/local wildlife photos, I went waaaaaay back and picked some of my random favourites to share! Photo 1 is, quite clearly, Scotland 🙌 I absolutely fell in love with it after climbing Ben Nevis for charity (in 54mph gusts 🙄), and then taking a drive from Fort William, across and down to Edinburgh. I took so many pictures but this one really stays with me - Scottish rainbows hit different 🌈💚 Number 2, 3 and 4 are canal holidays around the Warwickshire Ring! Nothing says nature like being on a canal boat and actually floating through it. I have long since considered a life on the canals - probably in Scotland if I could! The final photo makes me sad, but I wanted to share it… A mother and her ducks take a break on a sofa dumped in the canal… This photo was taken just outside of Birmingham city centre. Luckily, our canals are being taken care of now - mainly by volunteers - but the damage dumping rubbish does is undeniable. It not only affects the local wildlife, but boaters too.
