Little vent(?) How about we don’t fuck up other people’s armor guys. I finally have my dream helmet(sallet) and payed a lot of money to have it historically accurate and functional. But my mother and her bf decided that it doesn’t offer enough protection, and want to take out the padding and attach this ugly thick full face armoring cap to it. Might as well sell my helmet and make a kettle at that point. Did all 15th century knights wearing sallets die because the armorers, including the personal armorer of the holy Roman emperor were stupider than a dude who only really reads up on 9th century steppe people? “Oh but we’re going full contact” well yes, that’s what the helmet is for. I’m not saying my friend is stupid but this shit is my life. I don’t want to ruin an already perfect thing. He already messed up my bear hide, don’t mess up my armor too please.
When they ask “paint me like one of ur french girls” but you know only the Joan of Ark Part two out of ??; Repainting/Painting over an ai poster/banner I’ll stop for now, I need the workspace on my table. I’d say it’s finished, but if anything will bother me, I’ll fix it. There’s definitely a room for improvement, like textures and shadows; the face actually had an awesome shadow at some point, but I had to repaint it twice and that shadow is pretty much gone now. So, if you wanna point something out or make a suggestion, sure.
