Not limited parking. Zero. Atlanta-based developer Stryant is transforming the old barbecue restaurant site into 50 AI-designed micro-units, two ground-floor restaurants, and an office headquarters. This project is only possible because Atlanta removed parking minimums in the BeltLine Overlay District in 2024. What makes this worth paying attention to is that it is completely unsubsidized, meaning the developer is betting the market will support car-free micro-apartments in a neighborhood commercial district without affordable housing tax credits. The BeltLine Eastside Trail connects residents to transit and other neighborhoods by bike or foot.
