#hang in there

My friend who I used to take terrified pregnancy tests with and hold hands and pray to whatever listening that it would be negative back when we were in college and broke as shit with really deep mental health and substance use issues just messaged me to let me know that she and her partner are trying for a baby and she’s currently taking a test and hoping it’s positive. My favorite ex who I almost lost to drug use has been sober for a year and just opened his own business. A girl who I almost lost my friendship with over communication issues very clearly and unapologetically set a boundary with me last week and I thanked her and we celebrated the fact that we have that kind of safety and openness in our friendship now. My best friend and I talked last night and realized it’s been over a year since she had a severe mental health episode. My girlfriend who didn’t think she’d ever get freedom or respect from her very controlling parents set a major boundary this week and they respected it and told her they love her. After years of poverty I’m about to move into a house and I can fully afford to just write the check for the security deposit without help for the first time. Life is not perfect but it’s different and better and I’m happy and safe and in control of my own life now and if I had made the permanent decision to opt out any of the times I really wanted to I wouldn’t have been able to see all of this. I have friends that didn’t make it, that never got to see better days or to heal or to experience peace or safety. I understand and I don’t blame them but I would give literally anything to bring them back. So if you’re ever trying to decide whether or not to stay alive because you don’t know if things can ever change or get better I’m here to tell you they can and to BEG you to give yourself the chance to see a better future Love from your queer big sister 🖤

Hello, I go by Cynder! I am a full-time forestry and entomology student. I also love arts and crafts. My main blog is GlitterFreakz and that’s where I post more “clean” versions of my art. To answer your question, I've been busy with a full-time job that has gotten super stressful in the past two weeks But I am likely going to be leaving that job soon, by mid-June at the latest, either by my contract running out or my bosses getting fed up with me Long story lol I hope to be more active on here over the summer for sure!!!!
