I’m really late with a holiday project as usual, but I just finished it and I’m ready to reveal it! This is Elaine, the Easter alicorn! She loves to team up with the Easter bunny to hide eggs and help with other Easter festivities! She also wants to remind us that this holiday is about a very special kind of love. She does everything she can to ensure that everyone can have some fun on this special day, because as always, it’s an occasion very worth celebrating! Patterns as always can be found here: Easy Unicorn Crochet Kit | TOFT Crochet Pegasus Amigurumi Kit | TOFT
Had Neptune and Bloodlust decked out for pride yesterday! I even wore my overalls so I could clip them on each side. I didn’t take any pics at the event because I never remember to take photos at anything ever. Lots of people liked them and I even saw a few other ppl carrying plushes!
I’m chugging along as usual on my WIPs, but I’ve run out of things to do on one of them until the yarn I ordered for it gets here, so hopefully it gets here fast! I also ordered some safety eyes for another of the above projects today, so I might extra excited about getting stuff done today! In the meantime, I certainly have plenty of things to do! Some of my projects are getting more obvious, while others are looking more mysterious! Or maybe that’s just me. Either way, I’m excited to see how these projects turn out!
I found this strange creature in my house. It seems very friendly, although when I tried to ask its name or gender it just gave me this confused stare. I’ve decided to call it Dusty at the suggestion of my friend @starchild-666 . (I also found a strange note with it. It seems to be some sort of instructions, though I’m having trouble making sense of them. I’m putting them under the cut in case anyone else wants to try) Sorry these are such a mess! I only started taking notes once I got to the limbs ‘cause I knew I would have to make two of each, so I don’t have anything but guesses for the head and body. tumblr crunched the quality I promise if you click on it the words are readable
Plush 1; The Clown Hound Start time- evening of 5/31/26 End time- 5:20 pm 6/3/26 Important things I learned : REMEMBER TO GIVE SEAM ALLOWANCE, it’s so much easier if you tuck and trim your tails and embroidery needs to be slow and thought out. What I watched: Great Canadian baking show season 6 Summary: very cute! Proportions are off, but I think that adds to its charm. I want to get better at embroidery! I plan on incorporating it into more of my plush projects!!
He’s almost done guys!! His cloak looks a lil crappy but decent for my first time making a doll sized outfit like this, I suppose! I don’t have any gold material or enough yellow material to make the gold trim of the cloak so it’s just gonna be like this I’m debating on whether or not I should properly shape the sleeves and add that second layer that’s on Vessel’s actual cloak and the white shoulder pad thing, especially the shoulder pad since I don’t even know how I’ll pull that off without white felt (which I don’t have).
I’m down to just four WIPs this week, since I was unable to make progress on the fifth one. The yarn I ordered for it is from a small business, and for the last week or two they were away at an event, so as a result they shipped out my order *today*. But that means I’ll get it soon. And in the meantime, I’ve been using the opportunity to get more work done on my other projects! Because of this they’ll be done that much quicker!
Vessel plush update: starting work on the second leg today. After that, I’ll be stitching both legs onto the torso and finally sew on the head. Wish me luck guys; hopefully both will turn out as good as the arms! After all that, I’ll finally get to the fun part: working on the mask, outfit, and all that jazz!
Plush 3;Cerambus Time start- 6/9/26 Finish - 6/12/26 9:30 am What I’ve learned - I’ve found a very effective and satisfying way to turn skinny pieces inside out. Thank goodness for hemostats and Mt mechanical eraser. I also figured out how to incorporate figets. inside the arms and antenna are pipe cleansers with beads strung on. You can push the beads up and down. It’s very satisfying! ( it’s pretty easy, but if yall want a tutorial, I will give it) What I listened to - lots of music and more malevolent (on episode 10). I’m enjoying it, but l wish there was a woman who spoke. I’m only complaining because I love uncanny spooky women. Summary: Although not the most complicated decision, I think they are really cute!! I really enjoyed turning the limbs inside out. I have given all my plushes away, and this is the first one I’m keeping just for me. I’ve been bringing Cerambus on outings with me. It’s nice to have a friend and is a great way to talk to people!! I’m thinking of starting a blog just for them so I can take silly pictures. By the way, I’d love yalls ideas for my next projects!!
