Full Moon in Sagittarius 31st May 2026 is a Blue Moon! In Sagittarius the adventurous and optimistic archer, it is time to open up to new perspectives and truths to help shape your vision of the future. Sagittarius is seen as the most positive sign of the zodiac and it motivates us to see expansion in our lives (this expansion will be compounded by the Moon sextiling Pluto in Aquarius and trine Saturn in Aries). Sagittarius also asks us to find a higher meaning to our lives and to find the silver lining in all situations. When we focus on the positives we are able to manifest more positive things in our lives. Sagittarius is always in search of new perspectives, new knowledge and breaking free from predictability. We will be asked to release any routine that is no longer serving us and to release fears that are holding us back. Sagittarius is the eternal optimist so we are asked to see any change at this time as an important lesson even if this change is uncomfortable. Be curious and open to seeing the world differently. Let go of anything limiting your freedom, expansion or inspiration and any outdated beliefs and structures.
Sagittarius Full Moon : Warp Speed May 29, 2026 @ 2:45am EDT (09° Sagittarius 55’) There are three lunations this month! I suspect that the weeks prior where we were likely grappling with topics surrounding security, trust and comfort could lead to some form of unraveling as this Full Moon perfects. Situated quite close to Uranus in Gemini, there is a strong likelihood that this is the kind of full moon that could keep you up at night. Your mind and your nervous system could be running on high - tend to yourself, slow down what you can, touch earth, breathe air mindfully. Looking to the chart for the US (cast for Washington DC), this could be a time when corruption of power, misguided leadership and a revolutionary response could be at the forefront. Even if these topics are not making headlines, there are indications that these events could be bubbling up behind the scenes or could be on many peoples mind. It is possible that the conflict in Iran takes a new turn at this point, inciting further violence or cutting more ties with nations we once saw as allies. If you find yourself getting too wrapped up in what is happening, turn it off and go be with nature, or something else to calm your nerves. The end of May is not a chill time. We are adjusting to the new normal, and time is moving at warp speed, events are unfolding faster than we can keep track of them (both personally and in the world at large). There is the potential that we could be hearing about new technological advancements as well, or integrating current technology deeper into our daily lives (such as AI). June promises some reprieve from the pressurized intensity, so hang in there!
Caspar David Friedrich’s Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog has long been interpreted as a painting about self-discovery, perspective, and the search for meaning. The figure stands alone above the landscape, not because he has all the answers, but because he has climbed high enough to see beyond the fog. That feels like the heart of this Sagittarius Blue Moon. The past six months have brought upheaval, disruption, loss, redirection, and more than a little soul-searching for many people. When we’re in the middle of an experience, it’s often difficult to understand what it’s asking of us. We can only see the next step. Distance changes that. Perspective changes that. This Blue Moon feels like an opportunity to step back and look at the larger landscape of our lives. It’s a time to be honest about what we’ve outgrown, what we’ve learned, what we’re ready to leave behind, and stop being afraid of where the road may take us. Most importantly, it reminds us that nobody else can determine that direction for us. At a certain point, we have to stop outsourcing to the crowd, trust our own experience, and decide what path feels aligned with who we are becoming.
