Hello to all my awesome friends. I’m now out of surgery and in the ward recovering. All the news is really positive. The surgeon just told me that the reason I had all those complications from the first surgery was cause my stomach was sitting on a bad angle instead of straight which explains a lot. So the good news is they have fixed it all permanently and I hope to be out of here by end of week. Here is another reason why I am in love with Monat, they are gluten free! I just found out that I have to be gluten free and am very unhappy about it. But I was happy to read that Monat is gluten free. Until I started using Monat, I had no idea that haircare products have gluten in them. Gluten is seriously in everything and it is very annoying. I have noticed a big difference switching to gluten free and even my skin has cleared up so much. . But I need help! If anyone of you know any grear gluten free foods, recipes, breads or really anything, I would love to hear about it all. I feel so great since starting my gluten free journey but I also am at a lost for what to make or get sometimes. Poking my head out from battling the flu for 11 days. I don’t remember the last time I had the flu but it hit me like a Mack truck and I had no choice but to surrender. I still don’t have my energy back and for someone who likes to stay moving, it’s been very hard. However, it seems like the fever is gone (knock on wood), so I can rejoin the land of the living. I will have to ease back into working out, I plan to just stick with cardio until this weekend but I can’t wait to workout again. The flu is no joke, friends but at least I finished my screenplay! Currently on a switch to a whole plant based lifestyle… it has been the best journey so far! The only hard part is cutting out dairy and sweets… but starting to find substitutes for them and saving money in the process.

Ok so I’ve hit my weight threshold and have finally went back to the gym. In the past month I’ve gained 15 pounds, and that isn’t right. I’m trying to get healthier and back to being comfortable with my body. Exercising today felt so amazing, both mentally and physically. Eyes a little puffy, but I guess that’s what happens when you’re working through emotional stuff. I seemed to have picked up a bug at the end of my trip, but unlike my nephew, who was over his in 3 days, I’ve been dragging all week. #thebodykeepsscore Thank God for my amazing doctor who found that part of my malaise was not associated with the bacteria but with old emotions from my childhood. A visit to my childhood home was just what I needed to ‘release’ (my #oneword2017) those old emotions. The journey that is life is not always easy but it’s all we have right now. Allowing myself to experience and work through those emotions keeps the #EnjoyingBeing in my journey. #feelingbetteralready #emotionsarehuman
