Been #practicing the #Diwani #script yesterday and was able to create this #composition on @procreate . Using the #ipadpro and #applepencil . . I’m still playing around and improving the brushes for smooth Calligraphy. I remember going back about a year ago i made a few Calligraphy brushes they were okay but not as good as these. I’d rather you wait and get quality than push out mediocre brushes and get complaints. I want to provide the best quality digital brushes for Arabic calligraphy. . This project has been in the planning for a more than 2 years. We planned out the designs and then Covid19 and the lockdowns happened which delayed the launch significantly. It’s similar to the caterpillar and its process in becoming a butterfly. People may not see the effort and time that was put in this project similar to that not many see the growth of the caterpillar, but once it emerges, the beauty is clear as clear as day, only then it is appreciated. I’m so grateful firstly to my wife @ysmnsfyyh for the amazing idea to try to find and contact with @edora_angsaemas and at least try for the possibility of a collaboration. My wife is my encouragement, my wife is my perseverance, my wife is my wife. Secondly, I am grateful to @fairsulaiman for inviting me to BNI Sukses. Without her, I probably wouldn’t have ever gotten this kind of chance. Thirdly, I’m grateful for @tatynordin for always supporting me in BNI Sukses, ordering arabic calligraphy for her family and her business and then facilitating the meeting between @edora_angsaemas & @emee_angsaemas. Fourthly, I am grateful for the chance that Dato’ Hilmi & Datin Edora gave me with this collaboration, and not just that. Their overall enthusiam to try something new in the current industry was just amazing! & last but not least, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, Alhamdulillah, for nothing comes expect Allah wills it. Allah extends provision for whom He wills and no one can prevent it when Allah has willed it. Learning online is definitely not the same as learning in a class in front of your teacher. The focus is way different. When learning online, instead of just concentrating on the course, you got to concentrate on a few things at once, the wife, the kids, and other work. It definitely needs a new kind of discipline. It is because signatures are the image of you. Nobody wants a slopy signature. People want signatures to have that wow and umph when they are used especially when signing important documents. Even to this day, when someone asks for your “John Hancock”, they are asking for your signature.
