gulp genuine question incoming: would you somewhat urgent request of emesis blue. It’s a variant of tf2 but a more analog horror movie that takes inspo from ALOT of horror media… - 💥💼
oh we LOVE emesis blue! we actually have some folks from that movie ourself!! me when I steal my friends old ass horror movie and end up in a fucked up loop of life and death and rebirth as something worse
trope: misunderstandings (that are resolved)
This one’s tough - I would say C, maybe? Mostly because I don’t tend to notice it most of the time; I’m actually drawing a blank on any fic I’ve enjoyed lately that had this at all, but I think it’s more because it failed to make any impression on me than because it wasn’t there, if that makes any sense. I actively nope out of some versions of it. But I’m sure I’ve read and probably even written plenty of fics where it’s a key driver of the plot but I didn’t really ping on it as such. So probably C. I think the variant of this that I tend to like best is when the character(s) have different interpretations of events, and are talking past each other a bit and basically being unreliable narrators of each other’s reality, whether or not it’s resolved. This A Wrinkle in Time time loop fic that I read last Yuletide would be a really good example of that. ( Fic Trope Ratings )
"Hm, no wonder you're so alert then. Must think I'm going to pounce at any second from what you're used to." *They chuckled, claws still slowly tapping-* ~🌑💜
