unexamined biases my beloved. I love it when a character is in general kinder than most but is stuck in their culture and can’t seem to actually break free of human ranking conventions. so many women in this book just suck. sure you feel bad for soulless people. but do you wanna think about why you call disabled and poor people soulless and why you don’t actually do anything to help those people out

ALSO rovod agreeing to perch because bag dir is a distant possible employer, and then being shown true appreciation from her and then having to add bagzudandi as someone to manipulate???? its literally so terrible. like to form these relationships knowing that you’ll be called upon to hurt them – not always, not severely, but certainly you will be. and to be the first person to show someone kindness and to know that its in part in falsehood???? god i love bagzudandi and rovod i should write a whole second book on them.
