I never do these but it’s a neat idea. @chrisgreenblacksmith kindly nominated me for a challenge that was originally started for other blacksmiths. #mcthistothis The idea was to post a side by side shot of what your start point is next to the finished product. Cool idea even for non blacksmiths so here’s my post of a recent project. I felt like this might require three images as there is a step in the middle there where it moves off paper to lino and then back to paper. On the left is the drawing for this year’s linocut Christmas tag. Next to that the cut lino image in reverse and then the final image hand printed onto #rivesbfk #archesart @arches.art paper, with #gamblinreliefink @gamblincolors and #mgraham watercolour added to highlight the goji berry wreath. I’m going to attempt to keep this going by nominating @dreadfishhead @stephmedford @barbsotiart @jillbogart @sweetdragondesigns All these people make awesome work. All very different mediums.
