Advice or help Hi Im 23 from ireland my journey with transition took an unexpected and painful turn. I started taking estrogen to transition from male to female, but severe health issues forced me to stop. Because I had to halt medical treatment, my body began to change back naturally. During this vulnerable time, my partner who is transmasculine left me. He told me I ‘wasn’t trans enough’ because I wasn’t on hormones anymore. As someone who values T4T (trans-for-trans) relationships, this rejection cut incredibly deep. Losing my medical transition and my relationship at the same time has left me questioning my identity, my worth, and my very existence. I am trying to figure out what to do next. But forced medical detransition does not erase who I am. If you cannot take hormones due to health risks, does that make you any less trans? I don’t think it does, but navigating this loneliness alone is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. any advice or nice words helpful, and looking to connect with other t4t in ireland.
