I saw someone comment that they weren’t sure what they’d use a crochet chain mace for, so I thought I’d share how I use mine! Besides the obvious use case of hitting everyone within the chain’s radius, it’s serving quite well as my hair accessories and glasses holder! I think it would look quite cute if hung by the end of the chain from the ceiling a little further from the wall. But alas, limited space. Ah well!

ALT 2 crochet necklaces I manged to finish tonight. The bottom one I’m calling candy galaxy and I haven’t thought of a name for the top one.

My nephew is 8 and my niece is 5. I wanted to give them a gift, but not a t-shirt: they’re at that age where they grow so quickly, and after six months, it wouldn’t fit them anymore. So I thought I’d make two canvas bags with personalized designs, so they can hang them in their room and use them to hold toys, books, or whatever. The gift for him is simple; he loves dinosaurs, so all I had to do was get the Jurassic Park logo and add his name. For the girl, I’m doing a crazy job; she loves Barbie. It’s been 40 years since I’ve seen a Barbie up close… (and this may give a clue about my age) Oh well, for now, at least the boy’s bag is ready ^^
