BALIPORTALNEWS.COM , DENPASAR - Salah satu pengamat sektor pariwisata Bali, Agung Pram menilai peristiwa kelam putusnya tali lift (lift failure) di salah satu resort di Ubud memakan lima orang korban jiwa beberapa waktu lalu, menjadi bukti masih lemahnya pengawasan oleh Dinas Pariwisata (Dispar) terhadap standar keamanan dan perizinan tiap-tiap Daerah Tujuan Wisata (DTW) di Bali. Menurut Gung Pram, mantan Vice President Operation & Engineering salah satu hotel BUMN ini mengatakan, kejadian lift Ubud tersebut telah berdampak negatif terhadap sektor pariwisata Bali dan kedepan penting adanya komitmen Pemerintah Provinsi (Pemprov) Bali melalui Dispar, untuk melakukan evaluasi serta pengawasan ketat terhadap setiap perizinan DTW dengan manajemen resiko, sehingga konsistensi dalam menjaga utilitas pendukung pariwisata beresiko tinggi menjadi hal yang wajib dipenuhi oleh para pelaku usaha DTW tersebut. “Selain menjadi PR (Pekerjaan Rumah, red) bagi Pemprov untuk regulasinya, kejadian tersebut juga harus menjadi catatan penting bagi para pelaku usaha DTW untuk komit soal urusan safety (keamanan, red). Saya pernah bekerja di salah satu fasilitas rekreasi air di Kuta, mengajarkan saya betapa pentingnya faktor persiapan terkait keselamatan, pengecekan harus rutin tiap hari dilakukan sebelum operasional dibuka,” jelas Gung Pram, Rabu (6/8/2023). Menurutnya, konsistensi dalam perawatan fasilitas penunjang pariwisata adalah kunci dalam menjaga kualitas layanan pariwisata di Bali, sejatinya banyak kejadian pariwisata yang memerlukan perhatian dan pembinaan dari Dispar Bali, ada kejadian yang menimbulkan jatuhnya korban karena kelalaian pengelola pariwisata tentunya menuntut ketegasan pemerintah. “Sebelumnya ada kejadian di atraksi pariwisata udara di Bali Selatan, atraksi wisata air di Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Penida dan terakhir ini di Kedewatan, tentunya ini harus menjadi perhatian para tokoh pariwisata dan PR bagi Pemprov Bali untuk menegakkan kembali Safe Tourism Campaign. Sekedar mengingatkan, Global Tourism juga menuntut kepatutan yang terkait dengan ESG (Environment, Social & Governance, red) dan sudah cukup jelas dijabarkan apa dan bagaimana menuju pariwisata berkualitas,” tegasnya. Sementara itu, menyikapi adanya respon dari publik terkait peristiwa berdarah di Ubud tersebut, Kepala Dinas Pariwisata (Kadispar) Provinsi Bali, Tjok Bagus Pemayun meminta masyarakat menyikapi kejadian tersebut secara bijak.
