I was reading your siren fic and remembered a few years ago when something happened were all the seals started trying to give thier babies to humans cause they couldn't find enough food and the babies were dying.. now I've this image of a siren just giving thier babies to a person for reasons. Maybe dying? sick? hungry... I dunno thought crossed my head so thought I'd toss it your way..
Huh, that’s interesting! The first thought that crosses my mind is Eclipse ending up with a seal siren baby for the reasons mentioned above and then coming across his Y/N. You would get him and his child ( our child), which is a total win in his eyes! You have no idea what to do with a baby siren seal though the darling little thing is adorable. Eclipse sets the kid in your arms. He thinks you all make a lovely little family :)
No clue if this has been asked, but what would happen if Leopard Seal YN’s former partner came into the picture one day, like our lovely little family is all sitting together and stuff and dad just shows up. Would Eclipse just straight up kill him I front of the wittle baby Sedka??? Would Leopard Sea YN be the first to attack? I want carnage
Eclipse would attack—but not in front of Sedka. He’d let the siren leave the encounter only to hunt him down later. The siren abandoned his mate when she was vulnerable during pregnancy and he abandoned his child. As far as Eclipse is concerned, the leopard seal mer should have never come back if he wanted to live. (That’s not to say that Eclipse doesn’t have personal reasons to make sure this siren doesn’t appear to his new mate and his adopted child.) Y/N would be angry and defensive, depending on what her old mate is up to. She wouldn’t let him take her baby or hold her—he already made his choice. After the leopard seal siren leaves, Y/N would be so full of rage at the old wounds reopened and that gall of his to appear again. Eclipse would soothe her and Sedka, and plot what he intends to do next.
Out of curiosity, since leopard seal y/n is also a siren, can she and Eclipse have kids together? I'm just picturing Eclipse with his already sweet, but feisty older Sedka also holding a little half leopard seal baby who's just as feisty as their mama. XD
Yes! Gah, that’s such a cute image! Y/N would experience terrible memories at the start of her pregnancy due to fear of being abandoned again (though she does a lot to hide this fact.) Eclipse can sense her anxiety and is a very doting spouse, finally able to provide for her during her pregnancy as he wasn’t able to last time. She’s eased into his reassurance, slowly but surely. Eclipse is so excited! He tells Sedka that she’s going to be a big sister, which makes her excited in turn! Y/N is happy, too. The baby is beautiful and healthy. They name him Ruaq. He has a lovely combination of his parents’ traits with sleek fur over his tail in deep silver and dark gray colors with a few spots like his mother. His upper human half is sheeny and sleek, dark and pale, and he bears markings like his father. He has different colored eyes of red and one that’s the same as Y/N’s. Sedka is a very good older sister.
