¿En qué consiste el Ecobranding?
El ecobranding es un movimiento gráfico y artístico por parte de los diseñadores gráficos basado en el diseño ecológico. Consiste en un bajo consumo tanto de tinta, papel como de energía a la hora de crear diseños visualmente impactantes con un impacto ecológico y económico reducido, es decir, el ecobranding es una alternativa de creación de identidades más sostenibles. Son varias las empresas que ya están al día con su logotipo en este movimiento, por ejemplo, Starbucks. Lo que ha hecho Starbucks ha sido realizar un pequeño cambio con el que llega a ahorrar una gran cantidad de recursos naturales y económicos. Dirás, si es muy pequeño el cambio, eso no puede generar un gran impacto ambiental… Pero si te paras a pensar en que son millones y millones los envases que se llegan a imprimir con ese logo, la cantidad de tinta ahorrada es muy elevada. Este pequeño cambio genera en el medio ambiente y en la economía de la empresa grandes beneficios. Además de ganar en beneficios económicos, la marca lleva a cabo una serie de estrategias de marketing. Entre ellas encontramos su posicionamiento como marca ‘’responsable’’, transmitiendo dichos valores a su público objetivo con el objetivo de aumentar las ventas. Otra estrategia es el valor ecológico que consigue frente al resto de marcas competidoras, con el que constituye una diferenciación respecto a estas.
