Parsnip June 14th, 2026 - Now Birthday: June 14th, 2026 Mama: Chimera Parsnip was the final (third) born of the newest litter. I was taking a nap and heard loud mewing. The brothers were actively nursing, and it took me a moment to find this little girl. I don’t know how I feel about the word ‘runt’, so I will try to not use that on her. She was the last kitten born (unless something very mysterious happens), and she is smaller. However, she is very active, and will definitely catch up to the size of her older brothers. I was torn between calling her Parsnip or Pavlova (their mom looks like German chocolate cake, so I wanted cake/food related names). I even considered naming Rutabaga Sesame, but they do make cakes of parsnip, carrot and rutabaga – not sure how appetizing, but all three have both cake and food names.

Rutabaga June 14th, 2026 - Now Birthday: June 14th, 2026 Mama: Chimera Rutabaga was the second born of the newest litter. He came out paw first, ready to step above any obstacle. I think this boy is going to be fluffy. He looks a lot like Chance when he was born as well, which is making me sentimental. I love to see the bond that Carrot and Rutabaga have. I also love how they include their younger sister Parsnip . I hope that all three of them grow up happy and healthy.

Carrot June 14th, 2026 - Now Birthday: June 14th, 2026 Mama: Chimera Carrot was the first born of the newest litter. He came out face first, ready to take on the world. He is a good brother (from what I can see, they’re only one day old). I can tell that he and his brother Rutabaga will be great friends. They all like to sleep next to each other, huddled up, but these brothers were born in close proximity to each other, and have bonded.
