Courtney Allison of @frenchcountrycottage has published another book called, “Inspired Gathering”. It is filled with lovely images of incredibly creative and beautiful outside entertaining vignettes and tablescapes. At a time when we long to connect with family and dear friends, her book spurs us on to entertain outside when safe, social distancing is a must. Recently after ordering Courtney’s book from Amazon, we had a couple for dinner outside. We made the table from ancient, extra long barn boards, picked wildflowers and hydrangeas from the garden, filled the rustic table with candles and served southern barbecued ribs (recipe curtesy of @johnattayek). #superattractor ✨ Sorry, but I’m going to be talking about this book for awhile, but I’m another chapter in and it’s only getting better. ✨ I’ve been using some of @gabbybernstein insights into aligning your thoughts with your energy by applying it to my energy healing technique and it’s working miracles. ✨ So I was stressed with preparations for the spring ball and normally if I’m in charge I’m running on worry and anxiety. If something goes wrong I stress to the max. Yesterday all the electrical fairy lights weren’t working, the giant hoop wasn’t made and the tape I bought for the balloon arch wasn’t long enough. The whole time I was calm! Can you believe it? In my mind I was like “We have everything we need, it’s all going to look great!” And everyone who helped was amazing getting everything done. Creative solutions were coming to me and others so quickly and easily. ✨ Tonight the dance is going to be magical. We’re mainly using battery operated fairy lights in lanterns and mason jars. The hoops look amazing. There are flowers everywhere.
