ooooh ok so you know I love narugodo (or godonaru, wrightdot, whatever name you prefer) and yugagodo (godoyuga, blackdot, jailbirds…) So I present you: yugagodonaru, aka Simon/Godot/Phœnix In my mind, I started shipping it with the idea of Godot and Phœnix starting to fall for each other (unknowingly of each other’s feelings) at the end of T&T, but then the jail time happen, the disbarment, and they stay in each other’s mind but they both think it’s something that can never happen. Then in jail Diego meets Simon and bonds with him and they start an history together. And when Diego gets out of jail (here maybe after Simon does ?), Phœnix realizes they are both really close, and when Diego talks more about it, he realizes how. And he starts feeling bad about not having been there for Diego during that time. Ok I won’t enter in the details sorry but basically my main idea was that, it starts with angst and mutual pining and kind of a love triangle but it gets resolved with polyamory because that’s my jam. But lately I’ve been thinking of how nice it would be if it became a triad too and started dwelling more on simon/phœnix and then I kept playing DD and went to the part where Phœnix wants (and is asked by Edgeworth to) defend Simon and it made me even more convinced about it. This post is a mess, I’m sorry I’m still super sick but yeah basically it’s yet another super rarepair that I’m really really REALLY fond of I luv them

Black dot, Collectotrichum Coccodes, a soil borne fungal disease, can effect plant sterns, roots, stolons and tubers towards the end of the growing season. The disease will develop faster in warm, wet soils and continue to slowly develop once cooled in store. The tubers will have small greyish brown patches that start to develop on the tuber surface. The small black dots, microsclerotia, are just visible to the eye but can be clearly seen with a hand lens. Black dot is less common than silver scurf and does look similar at a glance. With the use of a lens the black dot microsclerotia are small dots further apart than the whispy black lines of silver scurf. Tubers going into store with black dot should be dried and pulled down to holding temperature quicker than normal to slow the progress. The stored tubers will turn a darker brown colour over time making selling into the pre-pack market difficult. The microsclerotia survive in the soil on ground keepers and on other plant root systems. Best practice is for long rotation, plant clean seed and harvest early. Let Simon be depressed, mourning, terrified, the memory of the noose tight on his neck, the emptiness of a life continued after the planned end suffocating. And let Diego be there, rock and shield and partner letting him soak the sadness up, seven years of repressed mourning. But let Phoenix be there too, lifting him up and bathing him in light and reminding him that happiness is as important as sadness and he deserves to be happy. Let the two of them help Simon live again.
This is beautiful and yes this is basically how I’m loving this ship more and more. Diego lived with Simon during those long years, he knows how it affected Simon, deep down, the crushing fear of dying and knowing you WILL die, sooner than the others, for a crime you didn’t commit but that you have to remain silent about or else another innocent person will be taken. He knows that anguish, he shared it, he knows the frustration of not being able to do anything but be his rock, teach him how to conceal it, to build a persona to cope. Let him cry to him silently in their cell and think it’s unfair that he got to live while this innocent younger man had to be given the death sentence. And now that they’re both free, they can learn to live a normal life again together. And with Phœnix And Phœnix being their light is beautiful. He helps them get through their trauma (while opening to them about his own), and to have hope in the future again. He gives Diego a reason to live again, after everything that happened, and he helps Simon finding joy and happiness in a normal life that isn’t a giant hourglass slowly suffocating him until the last grain of sand fell down. THERE IS SO MUCH INTERESTING STUFF INTO THIS SHIP
