The Hellfire Club has usually been depicted as a powerful, secretive cabal disguised as a harmless BDSM dungeon club for billionaires. This is of course hella cool but the real feat is that they got this concept past the Comics Code Authority people. (X-Men #130, Pencils: John Byrne)

Hate how modern Amanda Waller is written as an abject psychopath who spends lives with no remorse when the original Suicide Squad series had her be so much more textured and interesting.

Quick question @twasjane ! Regarding the major Thor runs, I own the omnibus collections for both the Jason Aaron & J. Michael Straczynski/Kieron Gillen runs. However, I’m curious about both the Walt Simonson & Dan Jurgens runs. Which of the two would you personally recommend?
