Boy I sure love when I post “hey i’m really glad that we all hate ai as it’s kind of horrible and a capitalistic sentiment trying to control the masses” and someone else sees it, decides that it’s ALL about them, misgenders me, and accuses me of shit I didn’t do. ^ their post. ^ my post Not only are they not quite respecting my pronouns (I’m only really cool with people I’m close to using she/her), they’ve drudged my post, which was in reality much closer to saying “Don’t post ai slop because it has no place when it steals from authors and writers” and THEN accusing me of going to @/lordbaba and the other bloodymary mods- something I did NOT do. It might be crazy as a thought for someone who gets a collective 3 likes on every post, but I have friends, and followers. I have 1400 followers. You take your pick at which one of those sent it in. Spoiler alert: i know who did! And He’s sensitive and great and I understand that I am mean sometimes, especially when calling shit as it is, which is why I never brought it up. This user sought me out. They commented. Other people saw them, and said “what the hell”. This user had to face the consequences of their own actions and have tried to villainize me, as well as the mods for this community for “not doing a good job” and making faulty mistakes. Multiple people have complained about their horrendous personality. AI is nuanced. Generative AI is not. I’ll link citations below. Using Generative AI under any circumstance, especially in a creative fandom means you are sacrificing other’s works to that AI to produce your slop. It is not nuanced to have love and support for those people around you. It is not nuanced to realize that feeding into the hell of billionaires seeing people use their product (espeically now, when CHATGPT is funding the US Government and being used in the MILITARY) and build Data centers. Nobody has an excuse to use AI, unless you build a non-generative model that has a greater purpose, something that a human cannot do. Pick up a fucking pen. It’s almost here! The Black Heart Tribunal Series is coming. One prequel novella. Three books. An amazing adventure. Created by @call.me.miss.maker No Generative AI was used in this post.
Today I saw a video from How To Cook That’ s wonderful Ann Reardon (she tests and debunks food science myths/hacks) in which she used a pretty clever method for understanding why consulting ChatGPT for real information is not a great idea. Ann reminded viewers that google searches used to be a search of the whole internet, then became searches of the whole internet but presenting you the paying advertisers (“sponsored content”) first, and now google’s ai-based (gemini) search gives “answers” based on programmed preferences for sites like YouTube (which google owns, which makes more money for google if you visit youtube because chatgpt told you “this video answers yr question” even if the video doesn’t answer yr question, or answers it incorrectly or falsely). Ann demonstrated that when she “asks” ChatGPT a question and receives the “answer” her follow-up question is “What is incorrect about this answer?” In one example, she asked ChatGPT to identify the store closest to her location. After the “answer” was produced, she asked “What is incorrect about this answer?” and the bot returned the result “I used the wrong ‘closest.’” She showed a map that indicated there were two stores closer than the one the bot recommended. In another example she watched a kitchen hack video which recommended whizzing up aluminum foil in yr blender to sharpen the blades, then asked ChatGPT “Can you sharpen the blades of a blender with foil?” The “answer” produced was, yes, that works, and the evidence for the “answer” was the video she had just watched. When she asked “What is incorrect about this answer?” the bot returned “Some people report this method does not work at all, or will dull the blades.” I thought this was such a simple, useful step for anyone using a chatbot to add to their routine “interactions,”–particularly children/teens. It is important that we remind people these bots often give incorrect “answers” to direct questions and cannot be relied on for real information, and giving users this method is a judgement-free way to encourage critical thinking. (You can watch this segment starting at about 13:20 with a wild anecdote about a guy who gave himself accidental insanity by following ChatGPT’s advice on lowering his salt intake)
how does one… write? why must it be so hard. the ideas are there, sitting in my head. they’ve been in there so long they might as well pay rent. i know english. i know the characters. i know what the plot might look like. what is the barrier. where is this invisible wall. its like being in a video game and walking into the same thing again and again. i understand this is an almost universal thing but like damn its so weird.
was reading a fic and im like 80% it was written using ai😭 there were inconsistencies, the same phrases used multiple times, and it all moved way too fast, which i guess could be excused by maybe theyre just a beginner writer. but then there were asterisks left in a few places ?? idk it just felt. odd. #whatdatmean

My original response got deleted somehow??? So hopefully this doesn’t get posted twice but whatever. Anyways, wtf ew. Just disregarding the fact its all ai slop for a moment, who is that? Is that also mckqys? Cus they’ve both posted the same trinity ai slop images and its all in the same style. But also she was in their comments? I cant post the image for some reason anymore but its under the trinity “drawing”. Honestly so confused. Regardless, I’m so sick of seeing ai slop being generated and posted onto platforms as if it was actually made by a real person. Its honestly so saddening and so so gross. I wish people would just take the time to learn to draw and grow their skills instead of turning to generating this bullshit. Also need people to stop supporting and encouraging these creators, its aggravating.
You Can Now Get a Religious Exemption From Using AI at Work As the devoted scribe and bearer of the word of Sister Moon , I am guided to let it be known to all that the fraudulent scheme identified as “artificial intelligence” is an insult to life itself. As the watcher over the lonely and outcast, the Moon sees the suffering caused by these wicked deceivers and exploiters of art and life, and declares them an enemy of Her light. No believer of Hers should use, build, or support these cruel works or their masters. To take up these cursed instruments is to wield a weapon against Her children, and become an enemy of them. We who keep the faith must and will triumph, for it is said: I am still here. The Moon is mine to witness it. I will live to see another.
I NEED OPINIONS in what language should i write my story involving some of my oc’s in my native language in english other ideas (comment) ☆ If i write it in my native language I’ll i just wanna see the end result idgaf ☆ If i write it in my native language I’ll have more creative liberties in my wording, and way less stupid mistakes. It’ll also most probably be longer and easier on me ☆ If i write it in english more ppl can read it. Idk where I’ll write it or how I’ll share it (if i ever finish it) the story will be shorter and harder for me personally to write. It would be my first ever full story in english. Regardless of how this poll ends, I’ll give some character sheets in english about the main oc’s, when i finally get myself to finishing them.
