Sometimes I think about the time I found a folder on the college lab computer labeled “Hentai”, and it was full of Arduino datasheets. So real for that lmaoooo
I don’t know who needs to hear this, but dont listen to random people on the internet telling you that college isn’t worth it or that you should drop out. It isn’t for everyone, but education is good and important even if you don’t use your degree later. Education provides worth beyond job prospects. It’s the one thing they can’t take from you once you have it. There are people who don’t want you to be educated so they stay in power, so get educated and curious about your world and your community.
A thousand apologies for the many protracted absences over the past months but you see I have something to confess. I’ve left Richard Huish College. I had to spend a lot of time revising for my exams but they’re finally over and so I probably won’t be updating this blog anymore. I might though For now, well done to everyone else who has completed their exams and if you want, you can find me on @richardhuishfan84 Apply Now
My mood is still being up and down. Did you know High School ends next week? I forgot! I largely forgot because I haven’t been to High School since June 2025! Think about that. June 2025. I…it’s been nearly a full year without high school. On top of that, it’s been nearly a full year without reading any physical books. A full year of stomach problems. A full year of not reading physical books (or books generally). A full year without High School. That’s depressing to me, and I can’t say I like it. No, I can’t say I like it at all. I’m thinking me and my dad will need to go to visit my old high school next week. I’m nervous to go to it again. I’m nervous to see the other high school students who may still remember me. I really only want to see some of my teachers again. But I also worry seeing them will make me emotional. It’s distressing. Writing about this has been pretty hard. My dad’s been getting a chiropractor appointment for the past half hour, and I’ve taken nearly that whole time to write this. I feel like I’m beginning to rekindle some of my old politics hyperfixation, for some reason. At least temporarily, I’m getting big into reading wikipedia pages for old politicians or whatever. And I keep spacing out. I still have those tierlists to work on. It’s gonna be Father’s Day on Sunday, so maybe me and my dad will go out to eat for dinner tomorrow or something. I don’t know. I’ve got a lot of thoughts running through my head, and I’m getting moody. I feel like I need more notes for my therapy appointment this month, but I don’t know.
Do you know what frustrates me? Students’ college graduations are supposed to be about them . This is their day, celebrating their accomplishments. It’s a day that’s supposed to inspire feelings of hope and optimism about the future. I do not understand why these idiot administrators keep picking these pro-AI corporate shills to speak at THESE STUDENTS’ graduations.
