Album Review: You seem pretty sad for a girl so in love by Olivia Rodrigo Firstly, it is good, thank God. Just straight off the bat. Secondly, the story and narrative are very strong here and each song feels like a different stage of a relationship. If I could sum what I love about her material it’s: euphoria in heartbreak . Which is exactly my vibe lol. 1) Pre Album Release Track: Drop Dead . Underwhelmed on first listen, liked it on second listen, then loved it after that. I think it’s a song that needs to marinates and cook in your head. She and I have both been fortunate enough to experience a love that makes you feel like you’re running through the palace of Versailles and then the privilege of being endlessly inspired creatively by the heart break. 4/5 2) Stupid Song : Oh My GOD. This song made me cry? Lol. I don’t think I’ve had a song make me cry in a long ass time. But this song sounds exactly like being in a very very wild and whirlwind young love. The build up is insane and it feels breathless bc that’s how she sounds singing it. She did it. She captured the feeling. She understood and aced her own assignment. Favourite song on the album and favourite MV so far, it’s just gorgeous. This is reminiscent of Driver’s Licence to me. 5/5 3) First feature with Robert Smith on What’s Wrong With Me: Unfathomable Amounts of Cool to have him as a first feature. I love that she is a fan and went vintage for a collab and didn’t pick a hot new boy/rapper. I’ve heard that some people do not enjoy his voice or delivery but this is literally what he is known for and why The Cure have always struck such a chord with fans for literally decades. I think this one might be a grower and it seems unfair to rate it this early. 3/5 4) U+ME = <3. Speaking of The Cure, this sounds so heavily influenced by Friday I’m In Love , which is a LEGEND of a song but U+ME is just so lovely too. I love the chorus so much, it’s so euphoric but the lyrics are pretty sad for a song that’s so happy. I get it Olivia. You nailed the concept. My second favourite song from the album. 5/5 5) The other songs are good but less spectacular to me. I haven’t rated each one because they haven’t hit me like the ones I’ve listed above. I may add to this later because she always has shadow growers in the mix but for now, I just want to hit replay on my favourite tracks. Shout out to Dan Nigro for fostering the talents of Chappell Roan and Olivia Rodrigo.

Chance, Change and Coming. I don’t know why but it felt light. Felt like I was recharged, reborn. I just picture out something that i could look up for, might found a thing that I wanted to chase and that I wanted to achieve, crazing thing is I could not specifically tell what that is, it might be just one thing or might be many things. But one thing is for sure, I found a reason to move, to wake up and chase it. All of a sudden, I just don’t care or stop to care and just go try to achieve what i want. Life is short, life is borrowed so go and follow what you want in life but don’t forget to be a good person. And if you are already in a situation where you want, but is about to quit or stop, Don’t!, Don’t stop, you will regret it if you do, trust me. Just continue where you are and you will arrive to that destination. Just be patient and pray and trust the Lord above!

3 Trails, 3.5 hrs hike, a baby bear & a splendid view of Mount Tammany Farview Trail (Appalachian Trail) Karamac Trail Mount Tammany Red Dot Trail A story of how we’ve reached the TOP!? Hit the road to go on our hike at 5:15am after a rainy night. Started the hike at 6:30 am on a muddy trail but beautiful forrest views. Bump into 4 tall friendly elderly men with their heavy looking backpacks on their way to finish the Appalachian Trail. After some elevated hike, breath catching moments and 1.5hrs later, we bump into them again in the intersection of Appalachian , Farview & Holly Spring Trails - they said they’re from Georgia, heading to Maine now. Then they asked if we hike often, ofc we said “No” and they immediately said we should head back lol. We didn’t listen and went to the Farview trail for the views and ended up on the side of an empty road at the Karamac Parking lot. WHAT A FAIL 😭🍃 Decided to walk the road to get back coz we obviously took the wrong trail instead of our plan of supposedly going to the Red dot trails which leads to this majestic view of Mount Tammany. But while walking on the side of the road with the Delaware River view, 15-25mins in we saw a baby black bear some distance away from us. So we panicked but slowly turned & walk the other way around, my cousin decided to book an Uber early on but nobody was taking it. So while slightly panicked, she immediately checked if someone took the Uber request and good thing someone accepted it already and was actually messaging her . My cousin called and asked him “ did you passed by 2 girls by any chance?” driver said, “ two gals? two gals? Yes!” and my cousin was like “yes, that’s us. is there anyway you can go back for us cause we just saw a bear” driver immediately said “ yes, stay right there and i’ll get you!” HAHAHA so that’s how we ended up getting back to the parking lot. Mind you, we were already feeling like were dying - our legs shaking, humidity making us soaked in our sweats and us slipping on the huge rocks…. Now, taking the correct trail we were supposed to go to in the first place and finally reached our destinationnn 30mins. later! and enjoyed this beautiful view. This was only the first/closest stop of the Mount Tammany Red Dot trail but we couldn’t climb/hike up anymore lolol. OVERALL AN EXPERIENCE THAT IS ONE FOR THE BOOKS. #CoreMemories
